Meshtastic plugin

nksmith70 on

Nice looking app and seems to have the basic functionality in line but would definitely benefit from tx/rx capabilities through Meshtastic or other open source devices like ATAK does. It’s a bummer to have to keep an android phone around and charged just to have full TAK functionality

App works well but with Meshtastic plugin was installed

The apps works and runs as it should, but I wish that the Meshtastic plugin was preloaded into it.

Love the idea of this app but I cannot figure out how to upload use or make offline maps. I tried downloading a bunch of different map files that didn’t work. Saw on these reviews you need a mbmaptile format and found a file I could use. But it says the file is too large. Some guy on YouTube figured it out but never explained how. Just shows him using the uploaded maps.

Stripped down ATAK

It’s cool to have something like the ATAK on iPhone, but it’s still in development for some needed things. One of the main things is that it runs in Apple Maps, but Apple Maps is severely out dated and the area has changed. It would be nice to run on google maps or something more updated

Pretty much worthless

Adding a server is such a hassle that it makes trying to use this app a waste of time. Would give 0 stars if possible.

ITAK for IPhone

Cap-boi on

United States

I’ve been using this app for the better part of about 6 months now and from my experience it has provided me with anything I’ve needed it for A little background about me I’ve been involved with Search & Rescue going on 7 Years through FEMA, Civil Air Patrol, and the Lone Star S&R Response Team. I’ve been an MRO (Mission Radio Operator) and Ground Crew RTO (Radio Telephone Operator) these are the situations I’ve had use with the App for. With that being said there is always room for improvement🤙🏻 R61R TX-085

Latest update bugs

huddle01757 on

United States

The latest update causes and issue when connected to a server and trying to download video urls from the server, duplicate servers show up in the select a sever window and when you select the server available video streams that are on the server and working on atak will now load.

So far I’m unable to pull up contacts and I don’t see where I can add others to my team. Am I missing something?
