The things I enjoy most about Italki are that you can connect with native speakers of the language you want to learn, and the times are super flexible. I’ve found it much easier and more efficient to have lessons through Italki than with face to face tutors and classes.
I highly recommend to everyone to use this app if they’re looking to learn a new language! There are a huge variety of teachers for many languages - much more than your typical app like Duolingo for example. I’ve been using it for almost a year now 😃

Phil is a very nice teacher, he helps me in communicating in a better way. By talking to him I get over confident in English :)
I’ve used iTalkie for speaking lesson. It was fun and very useful. Would definitely use it again
Bought package of ten lessons. On first time teacher was very late, dropped out in the middle and then said she was leaving ten minutes early promising to make up the time next time. Never showed up the next lesson. I asked support to refund and they did not. Got a chargeback and they froze the account on basis I did not say anything to report the first lesson in time. Would not drop it. This is what you get when dealing with this app. Just stay away.

Too many adds or suggestions from sent from italki. I’m always getting notifications that there is a message on Italki expecting it to be from a teacher, but it’s just more ads. so many that I just turn off my notifications. Which is not good because I need to know when teachers are not contacting me.
Look at your bank statement. They charge fees that are not disclosed. Complete fraud.
