After more than 4 years
I have been using Italki lessons and group lessons for a long time and I can say that it is the best platform for learning for me. I study English and Russian. I am very satisfied with my B2B lessons. I was sometimes disappointed with the group lessons, their level and the preparation of their program. It was necessary to pick up the right teacher. The system of the Italki is great and very friendly for the students.
Teachers rating system 👎
I am glad this service exists and I will continue using it. But the way you are asking to rate the lessons / teachers is exhausting. For people maintaining a huge education-related product, you show not so much understanding of how rating works. Perhaps it's just lack of care for what it is supposed to do. Why am I asked to rate the same teacher on the same scales after every damn lesson, even when I have them several time a week. Even when I continue to rate them high and keep booking new lessons. Consider simplifying the rating. Ask for more detailed reviews occasionally. Probably, ask people if they want to review the lessons / teachers before throwing the review form into our faces. Thanks.

Thanks italki for giving us the chance to learn any language. would like to suggest something to the app: maybe it’s better to list how many hours we have learned in a certain language? I feel like the statistics part can be more colorful or more detailed. It gives not only satisfaction but also motivation!💪 Application per se doesn’t not have any bugs right now, keep going! 2.The schedule of teacher is not well built. you can’t see exact hours. Please make it like the version on the desktop.
Check availiability missing
I love your app, only one thing really missing there. I cannot check teacher ´s availiability. I can see only detail when I want to book the lesson, not before - no another possibility to see what time exactly is the teacher availiable.
Bad app UX
Navigation in the app and chat control is very cumbersome. Also I have never seem an app where you have to repeatedly enter your account password just to confirm that the lesson happened! I have pointed this out to Italki support several months ago - but nothing happened since then.

Najít feedback od lektora je nemožné, přestože vás aplikace na něj upozorňuje. Musíte si italki otevřít na počítači a tam ho najdete. Děsný zmatek v tom, která lekce je minulá či budoucí, nedej bože, že vás lektor požádá o změnu lekce 😱 to pak nevíte, jestli jste lekci už měli nebo ji zrovna máte nebo co? Aplikaci už mám jen proto, abych nezmeškala případnou zprávu od lektora. Jinak pořád jak otrok zapínám počítač...
Skvělá služba, mizerná aplikace
Aplikace nedokáže rozpoznat jak správně vyplňovat heslo uložené v klíčence iCloud. Převyplňuje vám login ze Skype, při rezervaci nové hodiny. Organizace uvnitř aplikace je krkolomná.
