ITerminal Pro FAQ
Is ITerminal Pro free?
ITerminal Pro is not free (it costs 7.99), however it doesn't contain in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is ITerminal Pro legit?
🤔 The ITerminal Pro app's quality is mixed. Some users are satisfied, while others report issues. Consider reading individual reviews for more context.
This is a handy utility; however, it uses an old algorithm which has some vulnerabilities. In some cases, depending on how recent your server is you may not be able to connect.
Connection attempts to servers using OpenSSH 7 or better will produce the following error:
Unable to negotiate with legacy host: no matching key exchange method found.
Their offer: diffie-hellman-group1-sha1
Please update to your app disallow the use of the following protocol:
KexAlgorithms: the key exchange methods that are used to generate per-connection keys
Rubbish fail connect
Keep pop up fail connect messages, useless
good but missing some features
Good app, I would have give more stars but I feel there is some important features or users customizable things available. I’d like to be able to work in portrait orientation and be able to cutomize a bit more the bg and fonts color to my liking :) and customize function keys ... Still it’s a nice app but for the price it should include a bit more.
1st time using
This is the very first time using SSH and Telnet- was extremely simple to setup and get into my server.
Works great!
I still use my laptop for anything complicated, but iTerminal is great for quick simple tasks. iTerminal Pro is even better without the advertising, and the price allows me to login to my servers from my iPad when I'm on the go. Any shortcomings any have more to do with the iPad platform than the app itself.
Very cool app, deletes all saved servers
I would use and love this app as the UI is nice, but its completely un-usable for me on my iPhone 5 as it repeatedly has deleted all my saved servers, its a hassle to re-enter my servers credentials repeatedly. Looks nice but un-usable. Once this horrible bug is fixed I'll gladly delete this review.
Incomplete ssh key support
Purchased this product based on its advertised support of ssh keys. As it turns out its support is incomplete. It does not support RSA and DSA.
In my opinion these kinds of shortcomings should be clearly stated in the Details section since there is no try before you buy for these features.
I have since asked for a refund but I have received no response so far.
I love this ssh client
It is beautiful and elegant. I am hoping it is still under development I have a few suggestions
Terrible app
Getting a rsa public key into this app is impossible
Linux User Beware
This app will not generate key pairs nor will it accept open-ssh private keys. For my purposes it was a waste of money. I can not login to my server using a key.
