Can’t get the app to work on ios12.1.
I’ve tried everything. Rebooted the phone, software up-to-date, deleted the app reinstalled, nothing. Proper email and password, but iPhone screen goes black, app is closed.

Hearing test froze on the first page. I asked for support I received your knowledge meant of my request. However I have yet to receive any support. I deleted the app.
Must have wired headphones. I think it's rude not to mention that in the introduction.
Tried and returned conventional hearing aids; couldn’t tolerate anything in the ear canal. Then I discovered this app! I entered my audiology data and this app (iPhone 7 and EarPods ) delivers nearly the same hearing compensations. The EarPods are a little cumbersome at times and the mic can be a bit noisy. But it works well with conversation, playing music, TV sound, etc. A message for JACOTI: along with others I urge you to solve the Bluetooth challenge and make these work with Air Pods! Probably a latency issue but worth solving.
Recommended in AARP. Apparently they never tried it. This app is a mess and wants lots of personal information.
I forgot my password. Clicked the forgot password link. Never got an email. Address is correct. It won't let me reuse it.
My father is very hard of hearing and his dog ate his hearing aids so I was looking for an app to talk to him. This app delivered. I plugged earphones without a mic into my Iphone 7 and was able to use my phone mic to easily talk to him. I had to setup a profile and used a sister app to do this. There are a lot of posers out there. This one is the real thing, free, without ads and the developer appears to have a higher purpose in mind - providing tools to help people hear. Bravo.
Jacoti ListenApp version 2.3, build 20161104173000 makes me enter my user ID and password throughout the day -- that is, every time I return to the ListenApp after using any other app that uses the microphone. So I can't use Jacoti ListenApp or the related Jacoti Music when I don't have an Internet connection. So forget about depending on it while traveling. I'd like to use ListenApp through the day, but this requirement of repeated logging into the Jacoti Web site throughout the day renders it a pest and a far less useful companion. When people come into my office I have to fumble with logging in by entering my Jacoti user ID (my complete email address) and password before our conversation can begin. Jacoti is incompatible with my password program (LastPass), which otherwise could speed up the repeated logins. And the keyboard SD ummoned by Jacoti for the login lacks e-mail address necessities such as both "@" and ".". Jacoti people: please think more about my ease of use and less about whatever your purpose is in forcing me unnecessarily to get on the Internet and to log into your site. Otherwise, you are to be congratulated for a significant improvement in sound quality in this version, and for that I am thankful.
Why do I need to register to use this app? Terrible idea. And it always seems to crash just when I need it most.
I have mild to moderate hearing loss--there are a few spots in the top of my range I cannot hear. This isn't usually a problem, but a large portion of one of my daughters' voice range is in the area of my loss. I put in the ear buds and had her cover her mouth. I could hear everything she said, unless she was whispering VERY quietly, then I could only hear half of her words. The downside: One was, I had to listen to my own amplified voice. I'm guessing that is a downside of all hearing helps. The other downside was that it made a very high pitched squeal (like a real hearing aid, according to my husband). The squeal was annoying to my daughter; when turned down it wasn't too bad, but I couldn't hear quite as well. The interface was easy to use--I typed in the information from a recent doctor visit and I was pleased with how simple it was to get started. I don't have other aids to compare it to, but I think it's a great place to start--like buying reading glasses at the dollar store. Bottom line: I give it five stars because it's free and it works quite well for discerning speech. I'm guessing the app will improve over time, but I'm pleased that conversations with my daughter are now back in good form.
