Brisbane is not an option for city of origin... Multi-city does not work for first class... Garbage app... Chitose airport sometimes does not appear...

Seasoned traveller who has spent much of my long life travelling to around 45 countries & lived in quite a few. Of the many airlines I have travelled with JAL is simply the number #1. Reliable, comfortable in economy, great food, impeccable service. You might save a few dollars with a budget airline but for me, that can’t offset the pleasure & peace of mind that comes with choosing JAL. We had bookings at the beginning of 2020 to fly Australia- Japan return when COVID arrived. Getting a refund was painless & the money was in my account within hours of making the refund request. Currently booked back to Japan with JAL once again. We will never fly with any other airline after such great experiences.

Compared to Singapore Airlines app this is terrible. Won’t even retrieve a booking.

Why have an app in the English App Store when it has no English

on 20th June 2023, I traveled on flights QF79 from Melbourne to Haneda and JP47 from Haneda to Helsinki. I am writing to address an unfortunate incident that occurred during my journey. Upon arrival at my destination, I discovered that my checked luggage, with the tag number QF239981, had been damaged. It is a hard case, and the extent of the damage is quite significant. I am disheartened by this experience, as I value my belongings and take utmost care during travel. Unfortunately, I had already left and was unable to re-enter the arrival hall to report the issue immediately, and I did not see any Japan Airlines service desk at departing hall. Thus, I immediately reported the issue to Japan Airlines regarding this matter, and then was advised by Japan Airlines to contact Qantas Airlines. However, I have been informed that neither airline is accepting responsibility for the damaged luggage and advised me to contact Helsinki Airport Luggage Team directly. Unfortunately, Helsinki Airport is now asking me to contact the operating airlines for the matter to be resolved.

No English version is available with the 5.3.19 iteration. Or rather there are no options to press that suggest an En English 🇬🇧or🇺🇸. How did the programmer get paid when such a faulty product doesn’t recognize the base language of the device it is installed on? Unable to give zero stars. ‘Reviews’ claiming there are English versions and not disclosing the location of the En English 🇬🇧or🇺🇸 buttons are deeply unhelpful.

The booking gets errors after entering all info taking a lot of time.

App doesn’t work doesn’t find my booking.

This application is useless . It will not retrieve confirmed bookings unlike the predecessor. The information is disjoined and navigation is archaic. There is not point replacing a working application with one that is inoperative. Extremely frustrating.
