Still won’t connect EON One as a stereo pair to an iPhone or iPad.
I installed this app and connected to my JBL 712 speaker. The App said I should update the firmware. So I did. With the new firmware installed, the speaker can’t connect to Bluetooth devices anymore. In fact, it can’t connect to the app I used to update the firmware. So even if they fix this error in a future update, my speaker will still be broken because it can’t connect to Bluetooth to update the firmware.
Tried to connect to speaker with app and it required a firmware update. So did that with app and now can’t connect to speaker with Bluetooth which you would need to do to install any additional updates. So now the speaker can only have input from a mic :/
Useless app. Couldn’t get it to work if my life depended on it. I had a computer software tech friend try and help me. Couldn’t get it to sync nor update. Just got this system . I may return and just get the EV30M system. Played around with it at guitar ctr. It’s a breeze and worked perfectly first time.
None of the JBL apps support an app feature for the IRx 112 BT. Why is that. You have one for all the other speakers. I tried connecting a 12” Sound Town sub and the bass is very low. Hardly noticeable. I already played with all the functions. I’m using the thru port from JBL into my sub. Still very little bass. I figured I could adjust it with the app. But no app.
got a basically brand new prx 915 xlf sub. super clean, very lightly used unit. sub itself sounds great and i love the physical controls in the menu. found this app and went to try it but it immediately required a software update. sounds good- i started the update. update failed. said I need to disconnect and forget the device in bluetooth, turn off unit, etc and retry.. tried it again. failed again. tried with two different iphones, ipad, nothing. subwoofer won’t even turn on now. just get a black screen that says that i need to complete the update. I have tried dozens of times and now my $1200 15” sub is basically a worthless brick- thanks to this stupid app.
I was pretty excited when I received my new JBL PRX ONE . Initially getting the feel of the unit is fine so far. The APP on the other hand is not giving me any love. After doing a firmware update, I was unable to connect the app to the PRX ONE. I even reset it back to factory defaults and I’m still not able to use the app. Help!
I have had a slider jump wide open by touching it-sending the entire rig into screaming feedback during wedding speech. Not good. Connectivity drops too quickly if window closes. Considerable delay in changes made. If app updates, and firmware does not, you will be at a gig with no control. JBL should send an email that firmware is available. Running 2 PRX Ones since spring 2022. Nice to see JBL still developing the app and firmware though.
Really happy with the quality of build, product and service. Have two now. Personal support and effort from JBL backing up a product they believe in. App is fantastic and continues to be developed. Excellent
