WHY do I always have to login before using the app? This is SO stupid!

This is so easy to use: It’s perfekt just be advare on the light under the scan.

App is hopeless to use and without the app your money for the stips is wasted - there is no manual scale included in the box and that could have easily been included - all other companies do that.

You are forced to wait for the timer to expire. So if you know 30 seconds already passed after you dipped the measuring stick you can’t skip half the 60s timer, forcing you wait too long and giving you a bad reading, since the values continue to change over time. You literally have to have your phone at the aquarium to press the timer button when you withdraw the measuring stick, but you probably can’t do the scan there since the app is picky about light. I have to put the stick under bright, but indirect light for the scanner to work, so I’m rushing the stick and phone to the right location and then holding a piece of paper over the phone to avoid reflections from the overhead lamps. Just let me time it myself!! I also dab the stick carefully with paper towel to avoid reflections, since trying to shake water off sideways, as the instructions say, simply doesn’t work. Zero water comes off that way. Another annoyance is that you choose to save a measurement or not before taking it, not after. In the quickscan mode you can even go back and see the last measurement, but still you cannot save it. Coupled with the annoying timer, this reaches a higher level of frustrating design when you accidentally do a quickscan, but want to save the result. So you try to do a saveable scan, but guess what you can’t do that without waiting 60s *again* at which point the values will have changed and presumably be incorrect. It would be so, so easy to correct these things, so I can only assume that noone bothered to test this app in real life. I’m not recommending this product to anyone that’s for sure.

Hi I Will not recommend this product. I am unable to scan the strips and have to use a lot of strips just to get one reading. It reports error in reading card and does not offer to take photo for later retrying

Ich scanne die App mit meinem iPhone 14 Pro, aber wenn ich meinen Teststreifen analysieren möchte, kann ich den Teststreifen nicht auswerten, weil ich durchgehend eine Fehlermeldung erhalte, die besagt: „Der Scan konnte nicht durchgeführt werden, weil die Kamera nicht reagiert oder der JBL Analysestreifen nicht ausgewertet werden kann.“ Obwohl ich alles richtig mache und den Anweisungen folge, kann ich den Teststreifen nicht richtig scannen. Meine Handykamera funktioniert und ich teste den Teststreifen auch richtig.

Macht die analysie nicht

JBL, im Grundsatz ist die Idee echt gut und würde in der Theorie sogar eine bessere Präzision als bei der Auswertung per Auge und Vergleichsfarben ermöglichen. Die Farbkarte sorgt für einen Weißabgleich, der sich von der Beleuchtung etwas unabhängig macht. Ich sage bewusst etwas, weil das natürlich seine Grenzen hat. Leider ist die App so konzipiert, dass die Messung eine absolute Back box ist. So kann kein Vertrauen in die Messung entstehen. Weder weiß ich, wie gut die Software die Beleuchtungsverhältnisse einschätzt, noch kann ich den Scan zeitnah wiederholen. Stattdessen wird der Timer erneut auf 60s gesetzt … das ist Unsinn. Ich weiß nicht mal, welches Testfeld welchem Wert entspricht (weiß ich schon weil ich Chemiker bin, aber den Kunden lasst ihr im Dunklen).

Leider kommt es sehr regelmäßig vor, dass man sich erneut einloggen muss. Das gestaltet den schnellen Zugriff auf die Historie Daten sehr kompliziert und nervig. Ein erneuter Scan kann nur nach einem weiteren 60er Countdown erfolgen, da fehlt definitiv die Möglichkeit sofort einen neuen Fotoscan zu veranlassen. In Situationen, wo zb das Licht beim Scan unvorteilhaft war, könnte man innerhalb von Sekunden einen erneuten Scan brauchen, ohne einen neuen Teststreifen zu verbrauchen.

Leider funktioniert seit dem letzten Update die Messung nicht mehr. Erkennt die Teststreifen nicht mehr Er sagt immer Messung wiederholen Schade, das nach jedem Update irgendetwas nicht geht. 😟 Viele Teststreifen für die Katz verbracht
