Spent 2 hours trying to get this app to take a single reading. Followed the instructions perfectly and tried to fix every possible thing I could have been doing wrong. Completely useless. Do not buy.

Why do we need to authenticate once in a while when using the app? Why my scans are lost when I need to authenticate after making the water scan? Why before starting the services users are not authenticated so there are no losses of services after authentication? The authentication is badly integrated with the app. It seems that the business doesn’t trust its users true ownership of the app. So primitive the way of dealing with authentication, and don’t tell me that this comes to benefit of the user - just the opposite!!! A new unnecessary water scan, more revenue to the company- day light robbery!!!! After the response from developers: It is getting from bad to worse. The authentication is so antiquated. There is no proper sync between web and app. Every time there is an update it loses the authentication. It is so primitive this app, and quite frustrating itsusage. The only thing the arrogants can do is gaslighting the users assuming that’s the only app they ever used. Recommendation is to go elsewhere, there are other apps in the market that do almost the same thing.

I’ve spent over £20 on the kit, spent the last hour downloading the app. When I try and use the camera to scan and get a reading, even after spending ages lining the camera up perfectly with the card, it opens a really annoying error message every 2 seconds directing me to the website as apparently it’s unable to take a reading. I’ve read the help on the website and followed the instructions to the letter but cannot get a reading. Waste of time and money. Finally responded to this review with a fix 2 years after was originally submitted, customer service matches the poor product

Since upgrading to iOS 14, JBL ProScan will not save any of my data, and crashes out every time I tried to save. I have wasted many test strips trying to get my data to save. All sorted with the updates. Thank you.

The readings are totally out now, I have compared the test strip against the test tube and they are ok but the app tells me my levels are dangerous. I’ve then done individual tests using chemicals and they match my manual readings from the JBL test strip

Nitrate readings are way off every time. I've tested my water with liquid tests and other strips and only this test reports high nitrates. Very misleading. Annoying there is no way to manually read the results.

Do not waste your money on this! This will not test your water accurately at all! How they can even sell this is beyond me. You can test the exact same water at the exact same time and get different readings every single time. You also get different readings using different phones. Unreliable and a waste of money.

Login for app not working, after I had to reset my password on JBLs website. Great. Tried to find support which took ages. After typing a lengthy explanation of my issue I was asked to update my profile to include my home address!? Needless to say that this isn’t going to happen, so I could not sent off the support ticket. This means that I cannot store my test results, which is a loss of functionality in a product that I’ve paid £25 for. I am disgusted, but reckon it’s my fault for buying it. Won’t happen again...

For a couple of years this app was great. For the last two weeks, however, something g has gone wrong. Despite resetting my password, I am unable to log in with the app. It returns the message: “given data is invalid”. I can’t access any of my historical measurements now.

Tried several times and could not make this program to scan water values.
