DO NOT subscribe to their elite membership! It’s pretty much a SCAM! I’ve been using the elite version for over a year now. The main reason I opted for the elite version was because they mention that the data is backed up to their servers. Recently I reinstalled the app and was waiting for the progress photos to sync but they never did. Upon inquiring their support, I was directed to check their web app. NONE of the progress photos were there! Now another premium feature they proudly advertise is this web app. Trust me, there’s NOTHING premium about it. The sorry excuse for a web app is so badly designed and looks and feels like a site from the early 2000s. Basically they are charging people for nonexistent features! Definitely not worth paying $6.99 per month at all! You’re better off sticking to the free version. But mind you, the UX of the app itself has also degraded over the last few months and it’s buggy.
I haven’t been using this app for very long but so far everything’s great!
I’ve been using Jefit on my iPhone for years and love it. I just wish the watch app was in sync with it. The apps don’t cooperate during a session. At the end of a workout session, if I use the app on my phone, it doesn’t take any metrics from my watch. If I use the app on my watch, it doesn’t log things right with the Jefit app on my phone. I just want them to work together.
Every month seems like another change that doesn’t add to the functionality of the program! Now, when you do elliptical you can’t edit your data, which needs to be done because starting the timer in the program records a different time than actually spent on the machine - takes time to setup the machine. The last change got rid of the spinner to set reps/weight. Bump the phone when going to record your last set and the weight gets overwritten with what ever key you bumped. Hope you remember what was in that spot because there is no way to cancel the change. I could go on but maybe I will just close with - do some real world testing before dumping something on the users. It wouldn’t hurt to send an email with a description of changes so a person isn’t surprised when trying to use the program at the gym.
They sold my email address to hacking community back in 2020
I signed in again after a couple years and it tried paste clipboard. Immediate delete. Update: it gets even sketchier. Developer implied I did something wrong or sideloaded. None of which I did. What DID happen, developer Dan, is that I logged in after a couple or three years and the pop-up said that your app wanted to paste my clipboard. Maybe it was an honest mistake on your part. Have you ever heard of an edge case? But you’re developer, not me, bro. Check the logs, find out what went wrong— or it might even be simpler to just take out your sketchy code and send me an apology. Seems more likely to me that you side loaded your ethics, buddy.
This app is very cool. Easy to use, to understand, and most importantly very useful. It keeps record of your workout. A lot of exercise you can see and add to your routine with or without machines or equipment. The free version is enough at least for me. I really love this app. Highly recommended.
At first I thought this app will fit my needs in tracking my workouts but after trying to learn the features of the app. It became confusing because it’s not clean and simple to use. I canceled my subscription to continue to find a better simple workout app
I tried several workout apps and none of them compared to this when it came to customization. I can upload custom exercises, instructions on how to do them, and photos of the motions. I also love the autoplay feature. I don’t have to think and just need to follow what my phone screen says. I love it. My only gripe is that I can’t drill down on the muscles targeted. Really, I’m bothered that I can’t specify that I’m exercising my neck. I usually just pick “back” as the group for the custom exercise.
