Pricing is wrong?

Scott82NZ on

Looking for a good cheap fitness app and this one came recommended, was happy to pay the monthly price of $12.99 as stated in the app, however when I go to purchase it changes to $21.99… a bit confusing and disappointing.

Been using this app for 5 years

DodgySparky on

Truly used to be the best and most simple workout app on the store until feb 2024 when they changed the UI layout. Before you could see all the info on one screen, very simple to navigate, now they’ve added a scroll for each workout like a webpage, you lose your place constantly, accidentally deleting sets, the diagram of the workout disappears when you scroll in the panel. Absolute braindead design, you had it so perfect and you broke it so completely I’m having to change app. Please for the love of god return it to the old one.

Couldn’t do it without it!

AmericanKiwi15 on

I’ve tried working out without logging it, and it just doesn’t work for me. I can’t track my progress, remember previous exercises, reps, weights, etc. So, this has been great! I like the fact that I can build my own workout, or load a selected plan, and can see the numbers related to my workout, so I can gauge individual workouts, track and build my progress, and feel proud of my accomplishments.

Great iphone app - but Apple Watch functions almost useless

MapoTofuOnRice on

4.5 stars for the app. It does everything you need and simply. I have years of exercise notes that I wouldn’t want to switch away - HOWEVER I recently got Apple Watch hoping to be able to start leaving my phone at home. However the JEFIT watch app does not have workout notes functions or capability to view previous exercise loads - how are we supposed to review and write new exercise queues? Or progressively overload if we don’t know what we lifted last time? Unfortunately I have to take my phone with me still, and am now considering switching to another app which has the watch functions

No Longer Tracks Previous Weights/Reps by Workout

KRUKNZ on

Part of the free app used to be that your reps/weights would carry over from one workout to the next… but not hey carry over from one’s h time you repeat that movement… So if, like me, you do similar novenas on different equipment (EG straight AND HEX bar deadlifts) … you’re only going to see the last quantity of weights/reps/sets you did the last time you did that MOVEMENT rather than the last time you did that WORKOUT … I can deadlift 20kg heavier in a hex bar than I can in a straight bar…and I trust my app to keep track for me. Let me tell you… trying to lift 20kg more than I’m technically Capable of on a straight bar was NOT pleasant. Further more - I’d say a full 1/3 of the movements I do stents available in the app at all! (EG No TRX, only “kettlebell swing” option is a single arm)… so I have to tell the app I’m using the same “movement” even if that’s not why I’m actually doing… again, kinda need my previous weights/reps/sets from the previous WORKOUTS not the previous time I completed that MOVEMENT. Am I gonna keep using Jefit? Yes. All my data is here. Would I recommend the free version to anyone else? Probably not. 🤷‍♀️ Can’t afford premium AND a gym membership- so I could tell you whether or not that’s worth it. (PS Excus typos… my review text isn’t actually showing as I type.)

No new features

Bumbleblock on

This app has stayed the same with no improvement over the years. Why isn’t there no support for live notification for the new iOS

Pretty good

Indeed offend on

It is a good app to track your workouts, especially your personal bests and your progress. It loses a star because the interface is not as easy as it could be.

Free version is good for nothing

You need elite membership to use most good activities

Great app for fitness

jmitch92 on

Only reason this is 4 instead of 5 is due to the fact that there’s no option to leave private feedback messages to suggest changes or features you think my be a good idea or submit a bug. I’ve not been earning Iron Points for approximately 50% of my workouts. All my pre-made workouts satisfy the requirements of a ‘valid workout’ so there’s no reason why I shouldn’t be receiving them. I have earned the points on each workout at least once, so I know they’re all valid. I should be eligible for an Elite membership by now but I’m still quite a distance off. Shame that I can’t easily report this as a bug on the app and it has to be a public review, because the app is actually really really good.

So many bugs now

courtzlowe on

Settings defaulted to lbs when everything has always been set up in kgs. When I changed it back now all my logs are showing as converted lbs...practically half the weight! So frustrating!
