Be EXTREMELY CAREFUL editing your site pages & post with the jetpack app— It saves its own version of your pages and does NOT sync properly with your most recent updates. My jetpack app shows page versions from 2 months ago, with no way to force it to sync and update. If you don’t pay attention and edit with the app, it really messes up all your work & workflow. Literally the only thing this app is half decent for is checking stats at a glance.
This app has caused me grief multiple times, not syncing properly.
This is so slow, it crashes all the time. Surely someone can develope a better app for Wordpress.
Unable to use
In its current state it’s been quite crashy, often creating duplicate blog entries when it crashes on publish. I’m kinda sad I can’t just drag and drop images in using split-screen on my iPad, working with multiple photos is a little awkward having to go in the photo picker all the time. Errors will need to be better presented - one day I started getting ‘upload failed, press to try again’ all over the place, to eventually work out that I’d used up my available space, when it would have been nicer if the app had simply told me the reason for the error. It’s early days yet for Jetpack and I’m sure the team are working on making it better, but really, they need to. I strongly hope the focus on getting some of these fundamentals right before adding on shiny new features. (Like drag and drop picture inserting, pleeease? ;) )
Can’t even see posts published a week ago. It is constantly in a time-warp with stats as well. Absolute trash if the basics aren’t even working. Forget it.
Constantly getting upload failed messages, over and over again. Can’t publish anything with ease
I do not see any difference between this Jetpack app and WordPress app. Basically, if you have jetpack account both do same. Unless, something i find different later. Both app needs wordpress.com account. Both have same UI/UX with of-course different colours.
Can even Create new pages. My only gripe is modifying some things, like links and what not. I need to do from a computer for prosumer dot home dot blog
