This review is for the Joshua Tree Tour. We enjoyed using the Hawaii and Lake Tahoe guides. These guides are so clever and easy to use. The Joshua Tree guide was informative and helpful. Just wished there was more narration in lieu of the repetitive Native American inspired music.
Able to get this to work once, but now immediately crashes when trying to launch. Please help! This app is fantastic for visitors who come to the area
Once we got the hang of it this APP was great. Loved learning the history and stories and it popped on and off depending where we were. Awesome day in Joshua Tree!
Downloaded the app and the tour at home so everything was good to go. At the park it would constantly just stop talking mid story and then jump to a different thing or nothing at all. Super frustrating. Never had a problem on apps for other parks that do the same thing.
We loved all the info and guidance as we drive through Joshua Tree.
The app content seems fine but app itself is VERY glitchy. It freezes then force quits every 3rd audio prompt which made it essentially unusable in the actual park and then takes another 2-3min to relaunch. I have left feedback and am now requesting a refund as I have gone through 3 different channels and have yet to receive any response. TL;DR too glitchy to use in actual park, impossible to get a hold of anyone after purchase for either help or refund. Would not recommend and would not use app from this company again in the future
We loved the story of the roadrunner vs wiley coyote (beep beep!). Brought back great childhood memories! The stories of the gold thieves and horse smugglers were also great. Loved that this tour made our visit so interesting.
This looked like it would be great, but the app kept crashing. It was unusable and I requested a refund.
Tried everything to make this work, but it wouldn’t load correctly or sense position. I made sure to purchase and download ahead of time, and made sure location services was enabled for the app. I wasted $10 and had to guide myself through Joshua Tree. Update: The app developer kindly offered me a gift card for another tour guide, so I might try again in the future with another destination.
I found this app, by chance, when researching Joshua Tree National Park. I am so happy that I did! It gave us so much more insight Into the park, the landscapes and area of interest.
