Due to limitations in the Safari browser, Kagi cannot be set as your default search engine. Instead, this extension intercepts your request to your default search engine selected in Safari and redirects to Kagi, creating a seamless search experience. It works in Private Browsing as well.
Please note that some requests may still be sent to your default search engine due to this limitation, although the redirect will always be successful.

Wer kann, kaufen!
Die beste Suchmaschine die ich je benutzt habe, und dann auch noch werbefrei. Wird gefühlt im Wochentakt aktualisiert & nur noch besser.
Kostenpunkt zwischen 3€ (Familienabo maximal ausgenutzt) oder 5-10€ für die Solo-Abomodelle, aber wer es sich leisten kann sollte definitiv die 100 Gratissuchen mal testen.
Funktioniert
Alles in Ordnung. Funktioniert super, wie gewohnt. Man muss die Suchmaschine nur erneut einrichten (laut Anleitung in der App). Schuld sind Apple-Restriktionen.
Funktioniert nicht mehr.
Nach Update keine Funktion mehr. Die Suchmaschine mag toll sein, da ich nun aber für einen Service zahle, den ich nicht mehr nutzen kann, erwarte ich eine Entschädigung. Update: nach dem downgrade geht es wieder. Gut gemeinter Tipp an die Entwickler: LASST ES DOCH EINFACH SO! Es funktioniert wunderbar. Hört auf da dran rumzuschrauben!
Works flawlessly
Setup is more streamlined than before, which is nice. Would be nice if it was simply possible to set this up in the Safari settings; let’s hope Apple will (be forced to) allow this at some point.
