Have to buy a $ 60 bluetooth adaptor to use.
Can I use it with my MacBook Air M2 and is it a one time fee or is this every month subscription… I need to know before I buy it for my iPhone or MacBook Air
The app has a feature that the Boss Tone Studio doesn’t. With the Katana Librarian app, you can tweak a patch then save it directly to your library. Tone Studio makes you save it to one of the amp channels. Lame! Once you start using this app you’ll never need to use the Tone Studio again. No more laptop. The app does it all as far as I can tell. Nice job!
This is hands down the best way to edit patches on the fly without having to drag a computer around wherever you go. I just connect this to my AIRSTEP and it’s off to the races. If I had one or two requests, I wish there was a way to more cleanly organize patches and edit them without the amp having to be connected.
Can I just connect my iPad to the Katana via a usb-c to usb-b cable or do I have to buy the usb adaptor?
Need to know if it will work with the Katana Bass amps, 110 or 210? Or, are there plans to expand the app to the bass amps?
Looks like a great app. Doesn’t work with older iPhones 8 and earlier don’t work. The upgrade button doesn’t show. Newer phones it does. Going to upgrade my phone :(, and I’ll update the review, hopefully to 5 stars.
I have been using the Katana amps professionally since they were released and I love them…perhaps the most versatile single amp I’ve ever owned with! Enter The Katana Librarian app… it is a big step forward in getting the most out of this amp platform as it has allowed me to adjust the internal parameters at the gig from an iPad instead of hauling and dealing with a computer @ the gig:-0 Sean the developer is diligent with the updates and fixes and I encourage the Katana community to buy this app and help him to continue the development of this very useful tool! -Al
This app has been great for a while at controlling the Katana. Now, along with the Xonic Airstep for Kat pedal, setting amp tones from across the room with an iOS device is a breeze. Love the intuitive UI and options.
