January 23 update has now made it entirely impossible to connect, even after several resets, and even thought KEF Stream and Spotify app do work. Please fix! App worked porely before but at least sometimes it connected. Really appreciate any update effort regardless!
Blijft vaak hangen. Geeft verkeerde afspeelinfo van Tidal stream. Echt ruk
TIDAL integration has poor visuals. Cant make playlist well. Cue for albums doesn’t work. No album details. Release date etc. This is made by armatures. Take an example from Bluesound. So much better app. LSX speakers are great. But please update real Tidal connect please!
Afgelopen kerst een prachtig setje LSX aangeschaft. Na wat prutsen mijn muziek op de NAS via KEF stream af te spelen. Vaak ging het mis. Totdat de update van een maand geleden dit had opgelost. Nu een week geleden weer een update. Nu zie ik nog we de nummers in KEF stream media server maar wanneer ik op afspelen druk geeft hij aan track is unsupported and therefore un able to play. Dit geldt voor simples mp3 tot hoogwaardige flac bestanden. :( KEF kunnen jullie hier iets aan doen?
Nu april 2021 en weer zelfde problemen als vorig jaar. Hopeloos die instabiliteit. Zelfde problemen als hier geschreven. Raakt steeds contact met speaker kwijt. Muziek weergegeven in app loopt na een tijdje niet meer synchroon met wat er afgespeeld wordt. Deze problemen doen zich vooral voor in combinatie met TIDAL. Ook bij lage kwaliteit streamen blijft het probleem. Met spotify zijn de problemen een stuk minder. Maar ik wil hoge kwaliteit kunnen streamen met TIDAL. Slecht, slecht, slecht KEF!!!! App is al een paar jaar op de markt MOET NU TOCH ECHT OPGELOST WORDEN!!!!!'!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
De verbinding tussen app en speakers wordt voortdurend onderbroken, app en speakers opnieuw starten lijkt enige oplossing. Kef reageert afhoudend en lost het probleem niet op. Ik voel me bekicht.
It’s infuriating KEF just published a new control app that isn’t compatible with previous models, notably the LSX. KEF Control and KEF Stream apps are barely usable, as is the supplied remote. Bought my LSX a couple of months ago, love the sound, but the lack of serious updates makes it obsolete within the year. KEF clearly didn’t listen (pun intended) to their customers and just neglected a loyal user base.
In the last months it was terrible and KEFs reaction on e-mails was bad. Since the last update it is perfect.
Simply does not work as it should. A really crappy app...
Love my LS50’s and the sound is pretty good with Tidal Hifi but it keeps losing connection after a few songs. Take your responsibilities and fix this KEF!!
