Kindred Home Swapping

We loved our time in Bellingham. The home was perfect for our family. The beds are super comfortable and we love the hot tub. There are walking trails right next to the home. The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful.

The points idea is good but to many “host” that change their availability after you request. Getting points just for having open dates almost Incentivizes host to just post dates with no intention of allowing booking, then using those point to make a potential booking with out ever actually exchanging their home. This could be a simple fix with allowing people to review host for people to see before they try to book like other home exchange sites do. That way it emphasizes being honest and truly open to exchanges.

This app has changed my life. I literally travel more than I ever have since I’ve found Kindred. As someone who has hosted and stayed more than 10 times, I cannot recommend kindred enough if you want to see more of the world at a fraction of what it costs with other platforms

They make home swapping approachable and safe and inspiring. I’ve gone on so many trips now that any other way to travel feels egregiously expensive and soulless

I can't say enough about what a wonderful experience I've had as a Kindred member! My experience has been smooth and although I have not hosted yet, my onboarding process was excellent and my first stay was even better and easier to navigate than I expected!

Beatrice’s place is just a gem situated in a prime location. Her place was pristine, comfortable and I felt like at home! She was also kind and communicative. Top host!

Had a beautiful stay at Jonas and Ariel’s home. It was a last minute booking due to a loss and they approved immediately with such kind words. Their place was a home away from home. Had everything needed to relax and unwind. The perfect area to get to any restaurant, live music, store or monumental location in Brooklyn or the city. A wonderful place to call home for awhile.

I’ve been a 12 year host on Airbnb and so far am very impressed with Kindred, it’s refreshing to work with such a thoughtfully run company, can’t wait to use kindred more!

We really enjoy staying local and not in tourist spots. Kindred allows us to feel local and stay in cozy beautiful homes from people who enjoy traveling in the same way. I have been sharing our experience with anyone who will listen. The concierge and communication is exceptional and the experience overall is a 10/10.

My family had the best time staying at Angela and Joe’s Brooklyn apartment. It was so easy to commute into manhattan and great options in the area. The apartment was also so spacious and had everything we needed. I would love to stay here again.
