This takes me to the settings to enable Bluetooth permissions. Only they aren’t there. I checked the Bluetooth page but that only shows the option to turn Bluetooth on and connect to devices. The app settings (where it took me to from the app) only has background app refresh, AI, Search, Language, Acknowledgements. No other permissions are viewable or accessible. The help page doesn’t have any good advice on how to fix it.
Every time I go to the gym they “fix” the issue but when I leave the app forgets that I’m a member and says I have no doors I can open and no places . I have to knock every time but they have reverted to leaving doors unlocked!
The latest version seems to only work if I set my share location to always - there is no need for this app to know where I am when it’s not activated.
No way to ‘turn Bluetooth permissions on for this app’, known issue at my gym that the iOS version of this app is bad. Take a leaf from Verkada pass’s book and just use NFC
Invested in the Kisi system a number of years ago & what a complete mistake. The App is extremely unreliable and never works properly, in fact it’s on the rare occasion it does work. Bluetooth and location services must be kept on 24/7 resulting in severe battery drain, or alternatively the app constantly thinks it’s out of range of the receiver, which isn’t the case. There’s no legitimate reason why Kisi can’t adopt Apple wallet like others are doing, instead we’re stuck with primitive technology that doesn’t work.
install screen can be inadvertently closed before it asks for permissions (looks like a pop up, don’t close it!) and then you don’t get bluetooth or location services. Reinstalled and then worked fine.
The two doors to open my office are in different groups, I spend way too much time in this app clicking around. The Bluetooth works, but then I just get prompted by iOS every 2 days to keep Bluetooth turned on
We are really looking forward to seeing the access improvements for our trainers and gym users. No more doorbell use or waiting out in the rain to get in!
Last release is incredibly unstable. I deleted the application and reinstalled and now it’s not letting me log in with the error “The data couldn’t be read because it’s in the wrong format”
