The screen colours can’t be altered, and some are not easy to read. Now, it will not connect to wi-fi at all, or the app. Their help only regurgitated the usual instructions and it will not connect to the app. I would not buy this brand again. Pity.
Disaster
Doesn’t show all info on weather station. Can only save one day of data. Requires subscription to download a years worth of data, but that seems to be unavailable from the App Store. Do not buy a La Crosse weather station if you want to retain historical data!
After about 18 months the weather station repeatedly lost connection to my wifi. Nothing has changed. I have two weather devices in two separate locations and both have failed in this way.
I would recommend this unit, the detail and accuracy provided is 100%. Far better than any previous weather station I’ve owned. Great investment.
Great while it lasted but station can sometimes ‘fall out’ of sync with my fone once or twice a year and sometimes can be very difficult to re-connect. Now it WOULD NOT connect at all. Tried the factory reset, changing the backup battery, disconnecting it from the wall and leaving it off power overnight.................... Oh, will try one more thing next week- A NEW UNIT FROM SOMEONE ELSE!!!
The rain gauge takes way to long to register
Since I got a new modem, I can’t connect the unit to the wifi and there is no fix and was told bad luck. Re-connect with the old wifi otherwise we can’t help you. Gee, thanks a lot!!!
Phone app needs barometric pressure reading & trending for predictions & should update when app opened not when it feels like it . Only occasionally works when it’s in the mood . App opens with a blank page & no info regularly
Disappointing to buy a La Crosse weather station and then find out I have to pay a monthly subscription to get access to my own weather data if I want anything more than one day of history. Feels like I have been ripped off. Note also that units are American when it sends alerts so make sure you know how to convert from Fahrenheit to Celsius as the app won’t do it.
