Apart from the delay sometimes - which can easily be fixed if you email them - I reckon this service is marvellous. Being able to access your scans, see reports etc, is terrific. Had a lung scan for one specialist and then was able to show details months later to a different specialist - what a time & effort saver!
I’ve been trying for over a week to get access I wouldn’t bother
It’s all fine and well to have the convenience of making appointments online, but when you make the appointment, the branch you nominate do not get back to you with an appointment. I once waited two weeks, to ring them and see how much longer it would be, and I was told they didn’t get the request. Fix the app, train the staff, whatever, to make this work efficiently
Just got 131 separate almost-identical images of my baby instead of a video file. Checked with them and the app ‘doesn’t do video, only still images’. All I wanted was to show the people who weren’t allowed to come with me due to COVID my baby’s heart beating but I can’t, and Lake Imaging itself couldn’t tell me if the upload was automatic from their scanner or whether a local copy of a video file got saved and uploaded afterwards because ’that’s technical’. Their over-reliance on an app that doesn’t have video functionality seems like a small thing but in this day and age it should be standard. Video files aren’t exceptional.
