New update has resulted the app being too slow to connect lock
I love parts of our building’s new Latch system (like being able to use Siri to open locks when my hands are full or tapping my suite’s entry button while on the elevator so the door is unlocked when I get there), but the fact that the Latch people say that Duracell batteries are basically the only ones that work well adds so much cost and it’s not like the batteries last a few years. Our building has had these locks installed about 2 years and I’ve had to replace the batteries twice. Keep in mind, I live alone and haven’t been going out much over the last couple years due to recovery from multiple surgeries. That means that if more people live in your home or if you engage or unlock your door more than me (I would guess I do so 6-8x per week - meaning I leave my unit 3 to 4x per week on average), you’ll be replacing your batteries multiple times a year and buying Duracell gets pricy!
Does not work. Brutal app. Would never stay at a place that used Latch ever again
1) system has no reason log me out 2) forget my password email never worked. No email ever received from Latch
It is really vey convincing and easy… but I need to ears more about the contingent approach if the internet is off or there is an outage in electronic signals! I am sure there will be overrides!
It works most of the times. But sometimes it takes multiple attempts and sometimes you just have to wait close app restart app and it keeps you waiting g and all of a sudden it works. Overall the app is very flakey. The problem with flakiness is it tests patience to the peek when it does not work seamlessly. It tests your patience specially when. You are holding groceries and bag in other hand. Not impressed with this app. Lot to improve. I prefer punching keys than Latch app, people like more reliable and less flakey things.
The watch app frequently logs out for no apparent reason.
We dont have any options to open account on the sign in first page. So I dont know what’s the deal with it, but how can it be use if you cant subscribe and have to sign in to open it? That include Latch Manager
Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t
I think latch is one of the best apps I’ve ever seen! I’m big on safety and this has made me feel 1000 times safer
