We have completely redeveloped the app. We have listened to feedback and have built an app that we are extremely proud of.

Here are some of the features we worked hard on:
1. Offline capabilities.
-Sightings will load offline.
-Pins on the map will load offline.

2. Push notifications
-You can set to get alerts of new sightings for all the parks you are interested in.

3. Light on data
-We have worked on making the app light on data, especially when you are in the park and using your data, and not using wifi.

Latest Sightings is an app where visitors to the app's supported nature safari parks (view list of parks at end of description) can share their wildlife sightings, in realtime, with other visitors in the game reserve and also to users world wide.

The app is a service to visitors on safari. This utility app notifies you of sightings in your area, so that you can go and check them out for yourself in real life.
You never have to drive around the whole day seeing nothing, you can now see the magnificent big 5, such as the lion and leopard, everyday on your safari.

This is also the perfect app for wildlife lovers. Latest Sightings allows users to get their daily dose of nature, whether they are in the game park or not.

Disappointed

This app is very disappointing as it’s not up to date on sightings BUT the maps don’t show actual roads or their names when something is tagged as seen. I used the app a few years ago and deleted it for this reason and it’s a pity it’s not been amended. Not worth it to have it as the app just wants your info but doesn’t share what it is there to do. Needs some serious improvements

Best App in Africa

I don’t like when we open app it does not show latest tings. You have to wade through piles of what every person likes I don’t like that Mike Tucker This app has been modified to be able to see the latest tings first Just getting better and better Great job well done Mike Tucker Still does not do latest tings The likes still dominating??

Classic case of good apps getting greedy

It’s a convoluted mess. Tings come through At random times. Hours later after sightings. Adds everywhere. Proper Features locked behind pay walls. Notifications dont Take you to the actual tings. Map Never refreshes. The original app was the only user friendly one. This has become an app that seeks money and based on your social media accounts. Shock factor and click bait. Barely use it anymore

Impressive response time from the Dev team to fix bugs. Great app!!

Best wildlife app by far

Incredibly easy and intuitive to use. Not only can you share your own sightings from anywhere on earth but you can easily see where the best wildlife is! The app is super quick and responsive and easy to maneuver through the different pages. With added premium features that just make it so much better! Highly recommended for any wildlife enthusiast.

Frustrating Ordering

Much prefer the previous version of this app which allowed you to filter by todays sightings. Also ordered everything by time. This version seems to be an unordered list of sightings and not even all the ‘latest’ sightings before you see yesterday etc… An overhaul that isn’t as good as the original in my opinion

My favorite app

Went to the Kruger last month with 8 of my friends and we all downloaded the app. Even though we were all in separate cars, the app allowed us to all see our favorite animals together. We were also able to keep score on what we all saw! Such an awesome app! Would highly recommend!!
