Great shopping platform!
Lazada is responsive to challenges experienced by customers like fending off scammers. It has great incentives like discounts on shipping fees which is a big help - as every little savings help! If you know where to look, you can also get additional savings. My favorite, go-to for online shopping!
Quality is just 90% bad.
At least 40% of my orders are being returned either due to them being damaged, misrepresented in their listing, or just the quality being dreadful. Lazada needs stricter control on their sellers. This is ridiculous.
Waste of time
Find something I want to buy and can’t pay. Lazada blame my bank, yet I have tried two different accounts and both payment attempts failed. Each bank said the issue is on Lazadas side, which seems highly unlikely if not impossible. Vendors lose sales and customers can’t buy what they want, I get to run around the city wasting my time talking to the banks in branch because Lazada lie to their customers. Not impressed, not at all.
Fantastic ease for everyday shopping needs
Lazada is the turnkey, one stop shop for all your general and in some cases specific requirements. A great platform that resembles “Amazon”. Being an expat I find Lazada fantastic.

SERIOUS SECURITY RISK
BE CAREFUL WITH THIS COMPANY! I opened an account with them two years ago, using the OTP and my phone number. A year later I changed my number, and updated it on the app. A year after that I was logged out of my account and couldn’t log back in because I couldn’t access the old phone number However, I COULD ACCESS SOMEONE ELSE’S ACCOUNT!! I could access the person who used to have my new number. Now, Lazada won’t let me access my main account, or change any details on it and they REFUSE TO SHUT IT DOWN! This means that whoever gets access to my old number - which has now been sold to someone in Ho Chi Minh City - will get access to my Lazada account and all my personal details. Absolutely unbelievably bad levels of security from Lazada. And they claim that it is the fault of the mobile phone company - crazy!! Great app, really useful except for the fact that they have just left all my personal details open to identity theft… This is a serious issue and needs to be addressed
