Easy to use Very intuitive Great help
Have only begun. Moves forward fast and stays interesting
I’ve been using Rosetta Stone and Babbel for a while now to learn French. They are good for understanding the structure of the language. As you try to speak French you quickly realize that your vocabulary is quite limited. This is THE application for filling in that gap. It’s very easy to use and the process of repeating and reviewing the vocabulary is very effective. What I especially enjoyed about this application is that it has a “hands free” feature that you can use while driving/walking/running etc. It’s so very convenient. I started using the free version but quickly purchased a year’s subscription. I highly recommend this app.
No pressure. Learn at own rate. Responsibility rests with me.
Better cheaper version of anki, you can import anki decks into the app too.
Very user friendly. I like it.
Really like it!!
Finally a flash card app that has all the features and usability I’ve been looking for. The app is very easy to use and feeds you words that you need to know and does not repeat words that are mastered. It is very easy to add new words. Each word has all the attributes you would want such as examples, pronunciation, and pictures. It is also very easy to add new words in groups such as food or body parts. In addition, you can add your own words and your own groups and use example sentences with each new word. One of the best features is that this can operate in a hands-free mode while you’re driving for example. This is finally the app necessary to support you efficient memorization of a large quantity of information such as languages, class work, technical terms, or anatomy.
I love this app, I use it regularly. For me, the best part is the ability to create your own set of flash cards, which now comprises the bulk of my study. I also like that when creating a flash card, the app has a built-in translator that allows me to select from a variety of definition options. A few improvements I would like to see: -There is an inconsistency between nouns that have a gender indicated and those that do not. This should be a requirement for every word - even self-added ones. -If a French word is provided with the definite article and I respond without it, which would make sense in English, it is marked as incorrect. This should not be -When adding my own word, while I can add a definite article, I cannot signify gender the way other nouns frequently are, i.e., word (m), or word (f). That should be an option, as well. I thought I had more but I cannot remember at this time. If I do I’ll edit the review. But this app is fantastic and for me it’s one of the most useful language learning apps I’ve used.
