I was promised free $100+ items in game from an add, played the game for a while just in case, nothing. Also the game feels really poor to play and I noticed that the only way to really progress is through spending lots of money. Don’t get this game, it’s a scam and a cash grab.
Good game ruined by appalling developer choices and cash grabs. Promises made about in game currency and items have been universally broken, causing a mass exodus of players. The only way to make this grind fun again now is spending $100s every week. DO NOT get this game. Save your time and a lot of money. If you get it, you will regret it.
AS a game LGOH has focused on the big whales. Making payment walls that are insane compared to the entertainment value of the game. In addition to the payment walls, they now rendered all the “historical” money spent worthless together with a fight that is impossible to win even by paying. So, a beautiful game, killed by too high costs, too greedy devs and to simple game tactic changes, more HP on bosses? Seriously- its just boring. No skill required. Other games are thriving because they give value for time spent and money spent. Not by making insane pay to win walls. A refund is due for all the whales now- you have been cheated.
N3twork has screwed up this game soo bad. Please stay away. They are stealing your money and money is the only thing the devs care about.

I have no clue how this game can have such high rating overall. 1. The developers never listen to their player base. They are tricking us to believe they will listen and change stuff, but they always do the opposite to ruin the game even more. 2. The costs of buying in game stuff is way to high. The VIP subscription cost a lot as well. You can buy the biggest gem pack for over over 1000 NOK (my currency) and still get ripped of not getting a single damn good event card after using all the games. 3. The old timers are quickly starting to cancel their VIP and they are leaving the game. This happened after they started changing the pattern of the game and the events every week. 4. Free to play players have NO chance of getting into the top draw here as the game stands now. You will probably have to play for 9-12 months before you can start fighting for the top spots in events.
When this game first came out I loved it. Spent time and money on it to the tune of close to $45.00 every month. Then they started to “improve” it. With every new release came problems till it was unplayable by those who had devices older than a 2 years. To be fair, they mostly fixed those problems although the game is still glacially slow in loading battle screens and going from section to section. To this day it still seems they are more concerned with how the graphics look as opposed to can people actually play it. Then came the naked money grab.... I don’t mind spending money on a game I enjoy as long as I feel I am getting value. I spent early on and built a core deck of game cards that were serving me well - and I continued to play, and spend. Then they changed the game and the odds. Made it next to impossible to get a weekly new event deck without spending over $1,000. Seriously. They asked what tactics in player vs player play ever used most successfully and we answered. Then they started to talk about changing those very same tactics that many use. They had top limits for cards for over a year - things we all strived for and wanted. Now the top limit is unreachable without spending the equivalent of a mortgage payment weekly. They give duplicates of cards and items already in inventory without giving the items needed to upgrade or obtain the playable cards. While I still play the game I won’t spend on it anymore. The bottom line is this - UNLESS YOU ARE WILLING TO SPEND HUNDREDS PER WEEK DONT BOTHER WITH THIS GAME.
Ios users like me get lagged out of the game in events when we use keys we loose them. This problem only came when they added ultrakill bosses. Please fix it really bums me out when i waste keys
