MQ used to be a good game but over the last 6+ months, it has been left to slowly die. There are a few die hards left but your u would be wasting your time and money playing it until the devs re-engage.

Very much a pay to play
I do like this game but it is probably the most expensive game I have ever played. I have bought a few packs but they didn’t help with progression. While you can play for free, you won’t really get anywhere and you will find yourself just waiting, waiting and waiting to the point it just becomes a very boring game. I’m constantly left with nothing to do because the devs have made the toons you fight so overpowered you lose every time, so you have to pay or wait, and the packs aren’t cheap. I’m about 4 weeks into the game and already thinking of quitting. 1 star for progression, 2/3 for enjoyment because it’s somewhat frustrating, but I will give 5 stars for graphics. Devs do seem to update regularly, but all pay for items with an occasional free 3 day trial of a powerful toon you can use just to tease you. The daily tasks take me 5 to 10 minutes to complete, and that’s all I can do.
Recent changes are bad.
I have held off reviewing since the changes but having just spent two weeks getting the required assets to enhance my gear for it to then fail twice makes this game no longer any fun. What is the point..uninstalled.
From best to worst
This was my favourite game and I played it everyday until one day for 3 yrs.I tried to log in and it said my internet wasn’t connected, I checked and it still didn’t work. I turned my Internet on off and it never worked. I eventually gave up and deleted it, now 2yrs later it still doesn’t work! It was my favourite game now it’s just some trash that wastes my time if I try to play. I don’t recommend this in case it happens to you and wastes up to an hour trying to fix it.

F2p friendly and alot of free rewards, just be patient..
Worthwhile
Typical for the genre but still beautiful. Lots of features. No need to p2w if you are casual or divide your time between apps. Also no need to sink your whole day into it just to tread water. Progress can be stagnant at times. Devs constantly listening and improving as well as dropping new features and monthly and seasonal content to keep the game evolving
Don’t listen to negative reviews
On both servers that I play F2P I’m top 50 in nearly every aspect. This game is brilliant. There’s always events and something to do. Even if you have to wait to collect idle rewards, there’s loads to do with guild and side missions, hunting, arena, ladder etc. Hats off to the devs
Lots of screen tapping
For an idle game I have to tap to get the reward, tap to confirm, tap the annoying red dots that are supposed to be “helpful”, tap this, tap that, tap, tap, tap. I like the game but, the constant tapping, coupled with the need created to spend money, I’m fast loosing interest.
Fun for a while but lacks longevity
As other reviews have already said the early game is fun the the experience soon starts to feel stale with no way to progress you champions without taking on the paywall
