Legrand Lighting Control

Do not buy anything from Legrand — ever. I regretfully installed thousands of dollars worth of wifi light switches in my house and they do not work. Yes, there are installation videos on their website and my lights did work for a few years but after the most recent firmware update, the app will no longer connect to the lights, rendering the entire wifi application completely useless. Even the lighting store that I bought these switches from admits that they’re terrible products and won’t recommend them to anyone. They look nice and when they do work (like they’re supposed to), they’re great. But the bottom line is, they don’t work. Super disappointed. I will never buy anything Legrand ever again.

Superb when it works. Insanely annoying when all lights turn on in the middle of the night for no reason.

Without a doubt this is dumbest smart home technology I own. Avoid to keep your sanity. Update…. Their support is as bad as the app!

All previous reviews remain relevant - glitchy, etc. When it works, it is marvellous!

This needs to be updated. Can’t connect in a stable way. App will connect and then disconnect. It does this over and over. Considering all the costs with the switches and this controller, one should be able to get much better workability

Firmware update bricked the device. Called and emailed for support and only after several calls did anyone respond. They admitted the firmware bricked the device and promised to send a replacement. That was weeks ago and still nothing. Called back. No response. Good lesson in trusting a company too much.

The written instructions are are confusing, so for some this will make it difficult to setup. If you watch the online videos instead you will discover that it is very simple to setup. The app is very similar to many of the other wifi lighting products I have worked with before Legrand. I love the switches and dimmers, these are above average quality products. The app could probably use some work but it is software so I am optimistic it will continue to improve.

It can be glitchy in connecting to the hub. And it crashes every time you reopen it. Then the next time it works. Should be better given the price of the switches which aren’t worth much without a good app.

Don’t waste your money I’m giving it one star only because it won’t let me give it no stars

Very disappointing system overall... I am a home builder, so i built myself a house using Adorne system to test it for myself before to include it into my futur projects. I am sorry to note that the hub is very unstable. It operates the scenes right only one day out of three. The rest of the time you just need to use the switchs like regular ones. Not a big deal will you say, but then why pay several thousands more? This is not a 1.29$ app...you have to pay the big price for the switchs to finally get to be frustrated by that fragile app. I am sorry, but it's just another faulty gadget, am i writing in the dark when my lights are supposed to be on...
