Lex: Queer Social LGBT Friends

The original intent for the app was great but now its trying to cater to too many audiences. Tired of seeing cis men on there. As a lesbian it is impossible to find spaces without being intruded on or called “too exclusionary” ( and not i am not TERF, trans women are women) and i dont know if some people are taking it for their diary, but it looks more like twitter than an actual dating app. Not really helpful to meet people IRL. Deleted. Its a shame i like the text based format and the functions had improved over the years.

Simple to use and I have meat great people

I wish the app hasn’t so many issues like not being able to change the profile picture or not being able to delete or edit a post… hope it gets fixed soon so I can use it!

Le concept est top, c'est vraiment sympa de pouvoir créer des posts selon ses envies. Mais la messagerie?? Insupportable Même avec une connexion stable je ne reçois pas tous les messages à moins que je clique sur la conversation, et certains messages ne s'envoient pas ou s'envoient en double. Et la page ne cesse de rafraîchir tout le temps Je suis déçu

I don’t normally write reviews, but it’s a crime how few Lex has. I adore this app, I would tell everyone queer person I meet about it, but most of them I’ve met thanks to Lex! I like how it isn’t designed to farm your attention, but feels genuinely focused on letting a community flourish based on shared interests. I moved country recently and all my favourite friends I’ve met through here. Would recommend 💯

I downloaded this app hoping to make some connections and find some real queer people. Instead, I keep getting fake people who aren’t queer, who are only interested in scamming you, and have the nerve to ask you for money… when you have never met them. While this may work on some people, I’m no fool. You need to vet people better on here. I had high hopes for this app but just had to delete it. Crappy all around.

Great way to meet new people and find friends. Easy to choose your interests and find those with those same interests. Please always make the ability to choose age range, distance, and orientation(s) be free! If i couldn't do that without a paywell on Lex.. i would not feel safe. When Tinder made you have to pay (among other apps) to be able to choose the ages you saw, I stopped using the app. People who are young who want to make friends need to be safe from older people who they did not intend to have access to speak to them in the first place! Thank you, Lex and your team. I have no business talking to anyone 3 years older or younger or more unless it's for professional and mentor reasons... i had such predatory and abusive situations happen as a result of Tinder priorizing profit over safety. To this day Tinder still makes you pay, same with so many other apps, too. This set ya'll apart, but I'm sure that was purposeful. Please, please, please never change this.. neurodivergent people and vulnerable folx need extra protection like this because most of the time they do know their needs and boundaries and shouldn't have to pay, beg, or bleed before they are met!

Lex has managed to avoid the plague that has infected most dating apps (where they are trying to keep people from finding matches by locking everything behind paywalls). KISS FTW!!
