Great app
I love that I found this app before laboriously typing all my book details into a spreadsheet! I’d love to also be able to categorise by illustrator and publisher- if you could add them into a future update that would be amaaaaazing!

Not a bad app but there are glitches and no contact details to ask for help.
This app is pretty new, while the website is not. It has got a simple interface and not too many features to cause confusion from what i have seen. It works great when you can scan a barcode and it finds the book to add to your catalog. But many barcodes are not found. It works on isbn code, but most barcodes are not isbn but product codes and are not recognized. I cannot find any option to manually enter a isbn code to search. The only input option is barcode scan?? Other apps like book crawler allow manual entry. It is a free app though.
Good to have an accessible option to catalogue our library outside proprietary ecosystems. I hope the use interface improves over time and a dedicated iPad app would be great.
The app and website are good no doubt, although a bit dated in design. The problem I have is that I have a lot of rare books. They don’t show up on the search feature. It would be good to be able to manually add details of books in app. I have noticed this can be done on the web based version, which is consolation.
I'm very happy with this app on my iPhone 5, though looking forward to further development (would be nice to easily switch between accounts for eg). Also love the free upgrade to a paid account when you log in to the app - took advantage of that for my son's account. :)
This free app looks very useful. I'm hoping it will be handy in organising and accessing my library at home as well as the books I borrow. I've signed up on the website and having an app with barcode scanning I thought would speed up the addition of new books. But alas, this can't be done on iPad. I'll try it in my old iPhone 4, but I'd much prefer using the better camera in the iPad. A useful addition to this app would be to link books to the full text preview versions on Google Books.
I've been on Library Thing for 8 years, now finally there is an app I can take with me :-D
At long last, LibraryThing on my phone! The app is a much better experience than using the website with my fingers, and if I wasn't already convinced by the integrated scanner then the ability to shoot, edit & upload cover pics from within the app would have finished off the job.
