How much does Liftr cost?
Liftr has several in-app purchases/subscriptions, the average in-app price is 4.59 $.
Could you please add this one feature: I see the charts show a total of how much weight was done over all for the week that’s great. But could you also add charts in the exercise section, like each individual exercise has a chart where is shows weight progression over time. For example, I start off curling 25pounds for 2weeks then go up to 30pounds and the chart shows how I improved, instead of showing the overall weight volume done. Thank you so much 🙏🏼
Update: I originally paid for the app. Now it has app purchases and I can’t use it as I originally did ☹️☹️☹️
The best workout tracking app
This has been the best workout tracking app I have used. The app update frequency has been pretty good too.
The developer even replied to some of my feedback and concerns.
Would recommend 10/10
No Subscription Model
I don’t know how private the app is, but it doesn’t force you to make an account or pay for a subscription. We need more apps like this. Put your money where your mouth is and support developers that don’t use dark patterns.
10/10
An amazing app for tracking for progression and improvement over time. Very well made and easy to use. Highly recommend.
Fantastic for the price.
Great deal, for a one time payment you get all you need to track your workouts. Nice and simple and gets the job done without any fuss.
Only thing I’d improve is adding dark mode - my retinas would thank you.
Great app, one bug
Love the app. Works great expect for one bug.
It keeps splitting my workouts into 3+ individual workouts when it writes data into the health app. Unsure if this is a bug or user error. I build out a workout in the iPhone app then run it on the Apple Watch.
Easy to use
I downloaded ten different apps today and they were all annoying and difficult to use.
I downloaded this one finally and it is so easy to use!
One thing I wish though is that I could edit the BPM listed during the workout.
Great app!
Pretty Awesome App for Workouts
Love the app so far! I’ve been using it for about a week now on my phone and Apple Watch. It isn’t perfect, but seeing that the developer is still active in responding to reviews and making the app better is what made me rate it 5 stars instead of 4. If I could add one thing to the app, it would be the ability to add notes to each individual exercise instead of only being able to add notes to the whole workout for a day. I like to be able to know how I was feeling about a certain exercise in previous weeks so I can make decisions about weight progression and injury prevention. Overall, it’s a great app that I look forward to seeing progress in functionality!
Edit: Upon continuing to use, another big thing I think would bring huge functionality to the app is the ability to keep using the app during rest times. The rest timer is great, but it blocks you from being able to use the rest of the app while it’s counting down. That time is when I update the weight, RPE, etc. In addition, the rest counter does not continue counting down if you leave the app. These 2 things limit the functionality of the app when using it in an active workout. I still love the app, but these are 2 things that could bring it to the next level!
Very good, one minor Apple Watch improvement
Love the app, for a one-time payment you get all the functionality of many similar subscription-based apps. Simple to use, charts everything you could want, I have no complaints about the phone app. One improvement I would love for the watch app: the ability to edit reps/weights on the fly as I go through my lifts. I prefer to not keep my phone with me while lifting, so if I want to change my workout, I have to go my phone later and try to remember the details. It would be ideal if I could enter them in the Apple Watch app as I go.
iCloud Support for Backup
I haven’t used the app yet but looks nice and minimal. I saw there is an option for iCloud in the settings. However, it doesn’t have an arrow next to it to tap on it to see if there are more options. I’d like to make sure there is a way to backup the data just incase. Thanks!
