Roon replacement
For those users that own the Auralic hardware, this is a reasonable Roon replacement. I’ve been using this tool for a few months and it works really well.

Auralic needs to improve
Too long this app has not been properly updated. Always these small bug fixes but no improvements. UX is from 2015 and this is not acceptable anymore for a device that cost more than 3000 euro. Xianqian, please step up as this is very mediocre
App does not work anymore
Since last update I cannot listen music anymore via this app. In general the app is slow and not very user friendly.
Crash since latest update
The app crashes on both my iPad and iPhone since the update.
Bugg app
The Altair g2.1 sounds fantastic playing from Qobuz, unfortunately I need to use this app to bridge from Qobuz to the Altair. This app is buggy, not correctly synchronizes my playlists from Qobuz, not able to properly create, edit and maintain playlists, look back in my play history, manage my favourites and many more basic functions.
Connection issues on iPhone and iPad
The app is very good when it’s working which it ceased to do. My iPhone 13 (ios 15.6) and my iPad Pro 2017 (ipados 15.6) can no longer connect to the Aries G1 (firmware 8.4). On an iPad Pro 2020 and iPhone SE 2020 it’s working fine. Please address this issue.
Not working on iPhone.
App crashes direct on iPhone 13 (iOS 15.4). Sometimes it wil start but doesn’t find the streamer. In iPad no problems.
God but missing something
Is there a possibility to add the function of sorting your albums and songs by “date added”? Really would improve things a lot for me.
Super geluid jammer van de app
Ik heb de auralic altair nu een paar jaar in huis en geniet van de geluidskwaliteit..alleen de app sluit constant af of wil gewoon niet opstarten. Dacht eerst nog dat het aan mijn wat verouderde iPad lag maar ik heb nu precies hetzelfde met mijn nieuwe iPad. Ik heb uit pure frustratie maar Roon aangeschaft die het wel goed blijft doen alleen mis je dan wel de filters die de streamer zijn karakteristieke geluid geven.
A disgrace for the device
While my Auralic Altair offers a great sound quality and is well-built, this cannot be said from the app controlling it. The app crashes or cannot connect to the Altair on a regular basis and takes a decade to start up. Another source of irritation is that if another source than Streamer is selected, the app cannot connect. I never have such problems with my Sonos 1. And so far I have not seen any signs of improvement. The Auralic streamers deserve something better than this.
