Very good with some room for improvement
I have to say this software is surprisingly good, with a nice polished look and feel. Good user interface design and easy to navigate. i really like how easy it is scroll through albums via wall of album and there are lots of good music filtering and organization options. App includes nice artist and album descriptions. All in all I think this app comes fairly close to the Roon experience, which to me defines the gold standard. My top suggestion is to give users the ability to integrate or merge the streaming service library with the internal SSD music library to give us one seamless browsing experience as Roon is able to do. For the developers, the app has crashed a few times in the 2 days I have been using it so it would be nice to get some additional stability.

This application are si bas too Many Bugs and crashes and it’s not just me ! Never I was using this hardware because these problems it’s a shame because the hardware are great but nothing to drive music through this hardware. I am sure owners of Auralic don’t use what they build but other hardware. That’s the raison of too many years don’t have an evolution of material and also I am not certain this factory will grown much on the future may disappear when they don’t read advice from customers!!
To bad for a 1000 dollar media player!
In terms of design and functionality the App is great, but it crashes in 60% of the using time (during almost a year). I really don‘t understand why you don‘t improve this App. I use the latest iOS with an iPhone 8.
Barely usable
I give it 2 stars instead of one because it functions part of the time, but this in no way on par with the likes of Lumin and Naim, wich I also use! Auralic needs to very rapidly improve stability (multiple crashes) and the ability to find the internal (!) library. The App as a whole functions erratically. This is no fun at all. The interface needs to be flawless, otherwise the hardware can be as good as it gets and it is still unusable...
Much more expected / errors after firmware upgrade
- too cumbersome to configure radio stations
- bad Wimp integration: Albums are shown without any song, you can't play directly recommendations
- refresh problems when you switch apps in iPad
- too many clicks required in order to play
something
- only Wimp and Qobuz as streaming services available
- after firmware upgrade of Auralic: does not correctly play songs anymore, recommendations are not available anymore
