On st Patrick’s day 7 pm full resto - APP goes BLACK couldn’t open any tab. Hundreds of drinks rung in ~ everything gone ….. WHY YOU ASK? ( you might need to sit for this one ) SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE. AGAIN AT 7 PM ON ST PATRICKS DAY - FOR ONE FULL HOUR. ALL CLEARED - EVEN THE COMPUTERS IN THE BACK. FOOD IN FRYERS -OVENS -BURGERS ON GRILL COMPUTERS CLEARED WITH NO IDEA WHAT GOES WITH WHAT. HAD TO HAND CALCULATE BILLS. IT WAS A NIGHTMARE AND NOT ONE PERSON WOULD ANSWER TO HELP US FOR AN HOUR WE WERE CALLING IT WAS BEYOND.

I’m sorry to say it, because it’s a Montreal based company, but I don’t understand how come they are still on the market. Far behind any American company I ever worked with. The app lack of simple details that would make life easier. Customer service and support??? Apart they are located outside Canada, they don’t know almost anything, 4 of them they told me the MEV doesn’t need configuration when you change to wifi connectivity, all the ones I called they told me a SP 742 printer works with Deliverect, when Deliverect clearly stated it doesn’t…. A big NO for this company. Go somewhere else!

Would give it zero stars if I could based on the terrible tech support. Took over 5 days and many hours on the phone trying to install their server. Ended up having to call my internet provider so resolve the issue. They were much more helpful than the lightspeed team. Very disappointing

Lightspeed offers a great product for restaurants. All data is easily accessible through the cloud, and therefore have a lot of great integrations. We have been using them well over 6 months and have had a great overall experience. Their support is also on point.
