This app takes a lot of your money for stories that never get updated. Waste of money

I was wondering if the author only writes enough of the novel to get you in and than when you request more chapters he thinks up more I am getting sick of getting 5 chapters at a time and then still have to wait for them I think I will be deleting this app and go back to buying a book for the book store at least I will get the whole story at once and not have to wait only to find that they are going over the same thing over and over again and it will be a third of the price

Expensive and slow release of chapters, as for the incentive for authors, I really don’t think there are any here. Can’t even get the 15 min read time in for bonus coins,and if they think I’m gonna spend more money on another half written book to fill in the time. You gotta be stupid, would not recommend this app to anyone unless your a millionaire with a-lot of patience.

Updating chapters take along time chapters seem shorter the closer you get to an author update leaves you waiting at points where waiting becomes annoying when you get into the story line That’s my feedback this far

The principle of the app is that the more words you read, the more you have to pay. This creates an incentive for the writers to drag out the story as much as possible to make more money, rather than offering quality reading material. So if you have already spent a $100 reading a story you initially enjoyed and want to know the ending of, and the author decides to chase money rather than deliver a good product, then there is nothing you can do about it. Most of the stories also have 400, 500, 600+ chapters, which makes it excessively more expensive to read than normal books which have actually been through an editing and review process and doesn’t contain as many spelling mistakes and grammatical errors - sometimes it borders on not being English. The in-app reviews also don’t work, as any negative comments gets deleted / disappears. So the ratings of the book can be overinflated and not a true reflection of what the readers think and gets manipulated to show higher ratings than it has actually been given. This is really frustrating as there is no impact / incentive for the author to not play these games with their readers or to provide a quality product. If they don’t like your comments, they simply block you from commenting, which means new readers can’t receive feedback from other readers that have already paid lots of money to be disappointed. The app itself is also not that great - having lots of design flaws and frustrating features. Once I finish the book I’m reading, I will be deleting the app and will not recommend anyone start using it as you end up either having to shell out excessive amounts of money ($100+) to finish a story, or abandoning the story mid-way through (after you’ve already spent a lot of money on it) once you realise what is going on.

Most chapters are written half the standard length and books are poorly written exceeding over 400 chapters. With the cost of each chapter roughly being 12coins you would need in excess of 5000 coins costing nearly $80. I don’t know about you but for such poorly written books that’s way too excessive. The app needs to have some sort of standard that makes it more accessible and affordable for a reader.

The books are too expensive to make it worth following the stories. Save your money

Having trouble canceling subscription. One month doesn’t cover o e book.

For the amount of money you charge to read a book with the only way to get bonus points is to check in or read for over 10 minutes. Ask your authors to upload more than 5 little chapters a day please!!! A very unhappy reader
