The best translator available but it crashes too much.
I’ve tried many translation apps, and this one is by far the most accurate. I left off one star because it does mess up some key words and that has lead to huge misunderstandings. This is not good for business purposes and causes much stress. Aside from the occasional incorrect wording, I use this regularly and overall am pleased with the functionality.
I downloaded to be able to converse with my employees. It was advertised for the specific language. I paid and went to use and the language I needed was not available for conversation as advertised.
I signed up for a free trial but canceled after three minutes because a New York Times URL would only be translated to Spanish for like 0.5 seconds before immediately returning to English.
Not accurate at all! Not even close to what the original text says. I’m fluent in the three languages I tried it on and it was so off and placed random words in the text. I don’t recommend this at all!
The app is not working and for now I will not renew my subscription for the next month because I can not use the app now.
This app seemed to be the answer that I was looking for as it said it included Haitian Creole. It does (on an extremely limited basis). However, you will only know if the app delivers on what it promises after you have enrolled in the reoccurring annual fee. Time to cancel and delete this ap.
Not working
I have never before written a review for any app, but this one needs it. I had such great hopes for this app, but after trying it out for only a few days I’ve found several basic features that simply don’t work. Translation itself hangs unless you have an absolutely fantastic network connection. Importing photos for translation flat out fails. For such an expensive service the basic things need to work or else why would you pay for this? I reached out to customer service about the issues and the response was basically “thanks, we’ll let people know this doesn’t work.” I attempted also to use the desktop app and couldn’t even get it working in a normal install without several communications with customer service. Seems there are a lot of flaws.
It used to work now it doesn't anymore
