Lingvano: Gebärdensprache ÖGS

Die App gefällt mir super, sie ist leicht zu bedienen und man kann schnell lernen. Ist die App auch für die Deutsche Gebärdensprache DGS geplant?

Ok it isn’t that much but i wanted to learn some sign language that’s all not pay for some lessons I was done with the free lessons that you don’t have to pay for in less than 10 minutes Going back to YouTube tutorials 👍

Die Freude über eine gut gemachte App währte nur kurz, dann kam die Paywall. So was wichtiges für 18€/Monat ist schon traurig und lässt an guten Intentionen zweifeln. Inklusion dann wohl nur für €€€.

Es ist schön zu sehen, dass es für die ÖGS eine App gibt, in der man die Sprache lernen kann. Die App bietet eine gute Übersicht über die Module. Zudem sind die Videos sehr verständlich und allgemein gut aufgenommen. Ich würde mir noch ein Wörterbuch wünschen, indem man sich seine ganzen erlernten Vokabeln anschauen kann und sie dort nochmal wiederholen kann. Außerdem könnte man eine Möglichkeit in Betracht ziehen, dass man seine Fehler am Ende jeder Lektion nochmals freiwillig wiederholen kann.

i really like the way you learn phrases and words there. it’s though kind of frustrating that i have to pay so much money to learn more. i would really like to learn asl and i don’t have that much money so i won’t be able to afford it sadly.

I love the bite-sized course sections. It is extremely easy to keep up with learning ASL when it can be done in short intervals at my own pace. In addition, the training quizzes and dictionary makes retaining skills easy and fun to do. Three things I especially like are the videos of real people signing (instead of cartoon characters or still photos), the inclusion of several different people signing (instead of just one reference person), and the dialog sections which provide good back-and-forth conversations. This ensures a real-life variety of signing that will make in-person situations easier to acclimate to. All of this uses regular, realistic conversations so the experience feels as real as is possible. Additionally, a website version of the app can also be accessed which makes home learning easy, and your learning progress syncs between the app and the website so you can pickup right where you left off on either device. For me, this app has been fun and extremely helpful. The subscription cost is perfectly reasonable, plus you get a chance to try it out for a while before you have to put any money into it.

I love this website, it has made learning basic sign very easy and lots of fun. The videos, and the actors that do the signing are very clear and concise. The lessons are enjoyable, and you want to learn more and more.

This app is amazing it helped me talk to my deaf friend

My great-nephew is almost 4 & having some delays with speech and learning how to say words- could be Autism/ ADD/ADHD, but we are not sure! I find it to easy to be able to copy the people in front of him without hesitation or thought- he just does it. We may have found a way for him to communicate effectively should he be slightly non- verbal- Thank You for creating this program.

I've been learning ASL on the Lingvano app and I've noticed a lack of encouragement and opportunities to practice signing myself. I think it would be incredibly beneficial to add a section where users can practice not only recognizing signs, but performing the signs themselves. This feature could include cycling flashcards of English sentences, or sentences in the language of your choice, based on the vocabulary we've learned so far. Users would have to translate and perform the signs, and then flip to see a video of the correct signing and the signs in written format. I believe this addition would significantly improve our learning experience and align with your mission statement.
