After being on the fence for quite a while about Logic Pro X, the incredible versatility of this app (so much more than a mere remote control for Logic) sold me. If you’re making music, alone or in a studio/group, Logic has now become a must-have DAW with the addition of true remote tape controls, faders, effects, live loops playing and so much more. Great on iPhone, astounding on iPad, nothing else compares to the ease of use, clarity and convenience. Highly recommended
Works ONLY with wifi, NOT hotspot
Logic remote doesn't seem to work with the hotspot on the phone, but it works with wifi. So if you don't have a wifi near you, this application becomes useless. For this reason, 1 star is awarded as it is not well thought out.
Very good, but...
... being stuck with a “connecting” screen at the start is annoying and unnecessary. The app should run in a limited exploration mode when disconnected from Logic and should not be dependent on WiFi alone. You *can* use Bluetooth for a faster connection, but ideally there should also be a cable mode for better responsiveness. Apart from that... great. Well worth using. Nice.

I love this app, it is my mixing desk, midi piano, drums and more, highly recommend it if you have Logic Pro x.
Super useful
Incredible app. I don’t own an iPad, so iPhone only: If they add smart controls, remix fx control, & a way to control punch-in and punch from the inspector on iphone it’ll be perfect. 🙏🏾
Connection Won’t Work Wit Hotspot
I don’t have WiFi at my studio and can’t get it to work via personal hotspot, works fine via direct USB
Great pro app.
This app with a pro ipad let you have an entire studio controller right on the ipad. I frequently use this with my iMac to control my faders faster.
Works half the time
This app is really convenient when it wants to work, which is about 50% of the time there’s no indication as it was wrong because sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t. I don’t have a firewall or anything like that.
Not ready
Great idea, but even with an new m4 iPad I had crashes glitches and a bad experience. I’ll stick to logic desktop, this one is an Apple miss.
Not working
Updated my MacBook M2, and my iPad Pro to the newest operating system and now it doesn’t work. It worked fine, but now I no longer works.
