Logitech Mevo Multicam Reviews

Good App bad Subscription Policy

_Atharv_ on

I have been charged for the subscription of Mevo Multicam for several months, however, I did not intend to renew this subscription, neither did I use it. The process of requesting refund goes through a support ticket which makes the entire process very complicated. Whereas it could have been one click away!

3.1.1 broke my audio

DavePUCC on

I use an m32r sound board at my church that connects via usb to an iPad running Mevo Multicam. I never had issues with the audio until the iPad automatically updated to this most recent version, and now all I get is high-pitched static in my live feed from my board. I’ve tried EVERYTHING, and the only thing that has changed is the app update to 3.1.1 which broke the audio. HELP

Been using Mevo Plus with Boost for years. And multicam is a great addition. It would be awesome if Multicam could capture individual PC windows or external monitors with NDI, instead of just the whole desktop screen. Right now, only "Screen Capture HX" works, and we'd love it if "Screen Capture" (which supports OBS Virtual Camera) could work too. I mean, OBS Virtual Camera already can be detected as Input source but it only shows a blank screen. It would also be great if Mevo made a companion software for PC and Mac that automatically finds all our desktops, like Switcher Studio does. We just want to quickly show our powerpoint presentations live. It would be super helpful if we could do a Crop for all input sources (Cameras, Mevo Go, NDI Inputs) right within the Multicam app. This way, we wouldn't need to keep walking around, going through all of our connected cameras, just to adjust our iPhones' crop settings. And maybe, in the mean time (with Screen Capture HX), we could just utilize and show only a portion of our desktop (a production view of our presentation software) for Multicam. It would be cool if Picture in Picture (PIP) could have transition effects too. The 3 dots (settings) on each asset is fiddly. Many times I need to click on it just to adjust some settings before showing it live, but then it suddenly gets switched to it, which I didn't intend to do. Please bring over the ability to see online comments right within Multicam app, like how we can with the original Mevo app. That's all for now. Thanks

App doesn’t seem to work consistently

I have tried for hours to get my cellular devices to connect with the multi am app. I followed all instructions pre I. I watched a few YouTube videos to see if I was missing a step. I am doing everything correctly. I even did speed tests on my Wi-Fi connection to make sure there wasn’t a lag in connectivity. I also updated all device software to the latest versions just in case. Still having issues. I signed up for the pro account as well. Am I missing something? Does one have to pay upfront for the year or buy your cameras to use this app properly? If so, why offer free trials or the ability to link other wireless devices?

Adds a step and makes on-the-fly adjustments slower and more difficult.. need a streamlined process.
