Unless you live in NYC, this app is effectively useless as the only people I’ll see come through my feed live in NYC. As someone who lives in Chicago and has no need to travel to NYC, I’m effectively paying money to use a dating app that matches me with people hundreds of miles away. Totally waste of money
Don’t waste your time. There are no ppl on it and even if you change your age range you get maybe one more if that. You can’t see who likes you and the napkin thing is ridiculous. Badly designed and badly executed. Forced to pay just to see anyone. So stupid. I want my money back
Classy design, minimal complexities, and an interesting user base are the pro’s. Those outside of major cities may not have Lox events nearby or many users.
This app is genuine and they are really trying to match people. Unlike all the other dating apps out there now which are mostly bots and fake profiles, Lox Club has an authentic approach.
UI is subpar, don’t have any users on the app, and way too many paywalls. Definitely better off using Hinge with the Jewish filter..
Very very disappointed especially now after reading the reviews. Doesn’t seem like they listened or made any improvements. I should have read them before signing up! Not sure how they claim it’s exclusive as there is no vetting process outside of filling out a form. There is no free option so you can at least get an idea if there is a selection in your area (mine is very very limited and I live near LA). They recycle the same people over and over even though they “limit” the number of potential matches-if I wasn’t interested the first time I won’t be interested the 2nd, 3rd ,4th or even 5th time..there does seem to be more applicants in the east coast but even then it’s still limited.
I bought a three month subscription to this program and was swiping away. In that time I did not receive one single match and the number of swipes you got per day disappear so quickly it doesn’t even give you the option to improve your matching possibilities. For the premium price that they are charging, I would expect at least a handful of matches over a three month period of consistent use. When I reached out to Lox Club support regarding this issue and asking for a refund on the cost of this app. They directed me to the App Store who then told me they are not able to process this and I would have to work with Lox Club.. I would strongly recommend that you avoid this app.
You still can’t filter by location — it keeps showing you potential matches from hundreds of miles away.
The only plus side of me having this app is that i found out you can request a refund through the App Store. I didn’t know you could do that! Lox Club shows you people who do not live in your city because they have no one to show - very misleading app! Please save your money!!
This is the worst dating app ever. Don’t waste your money. Don’t let them lure in. Among other things, they give you a couple choices at a time, almost always from another stage and sometimes another country. Horrible.
