Luas

Possibly one of the most useless travel apps I’ve seen. If you want to get somewhere on the LUAS you have to be familiar with it first. That won’t be the case for people who come from outside Dublin. Try, for example, to figure out how to get from O’Connell Street to Trinity just using this app. There’s no usable map showing direction of the tram - nothing of the kind so you couldn’t even use a map to get you there!

Feeds are a total mess and has been for weeks now. Would be perfect if they can sort the feed info. How hard can it be? Eg. This morning app said train due in 1 minute. Actual train was 11 minutes away. Been like this for weeks. Thus entire app and project is useless.

Useful and easy to use. However, whilst the maps facility is helpful it would be appreciated to also have a listing of Luas routes, map that can be accessed without an Internet connection.

This is exactly what I need. It works fine for me in 3G and the map shows you the nearest stop. I can now maximise my time in the pub!

Some reviews from 12 years ago are still relevant today. This app is dated and the interface is not user friendly. It should easily be able to provide real times for more than just two trams and even then the timings are not accurate sometimes. I have missed a luas on more than one occasion. The anti social behaviour function is useless. Tried it multiple times on one occasion where there was a serious issue but they didn’t even bother responding to it. What’s the point of implementing it then when passenger safety is not taken seriously? I still can’t get over how this is the official Luas app.

It redirected me to google maps all the time and it’s hard to find the destination.😡one star is already too much for it😡😡😡
