Coercive pretentious brain training. These games don’t offer motivation to do better since they control what you can achieve. You are supposedly allowed to choose what workout you want - I want to play from my favourite list but rarely get any of my favourite games. When I want to swap, I repeatedly get the choice of games I HATE. You are only allowed to permanently remove 3 games! Why offer choices & deny?? Well when I contact them to complain, they tell me because they want to encourage users to try other games🙄So why offer choices🤷♀️I frequently spoil games just to get past them so defeats the object. I won’t be told what to play when I’m paying for use. I wouldn’t recommend Lumosity to anyone who is serious about improving their brain. The app users need to use it to improve theirs.
Rubbish
This game is a total garbage - you learn nothing, feedback is trash, and thus, there is no incentive to continue playing. Worst brain training game I have ever played. Do not waste your time.
Price issue
I think luminosity is a nice game app with lots of different style games to suit various people. The problem is the price, to pay £44.99 for a year is a lot just for a game.
Even when they have had offers, charging £28.99 It’s still a lot to pay for just a game.
If the yearly price was £20-£25, then yes, I would subscribe to the premium. I feel there’s probably a lot of other people who feel the same. Here’s a example, high street name shops can be expensive, meanwhile the store primark came along and sells much cheaper things. There is always more people in that shop then the other stores. People buy more in there, because of the price. So if this premium was cheaper, they would have way more premium subscribers….
Paid yet don’t get premium access
I have paid for premium access, the money was taken from my bank account, yet the app does not recognise my access. I have tried everything they suggested in Help. Contacted them but they never responded. Very disappointed.
Lack of free games
Look this is an advice that u should do business but u should also give place u just give 3 games and others are nothing but locked u think that people will buy premium yeah it will happen if customer is rich but guys like us can’t and u should really consider This make 5 games free that will help u grow u r download because we play only 3 games its better to be nothing i hope u understand.
No good
The whole emphasis of this app is to try to get you to upgrade to a subscription. The free version leaves a lot to be desired when compared to other free brain training apps.
It limits your access to the available games and keeps repeating the same old ones day after day,

Needs better Mental Maths games!
More mental maths games, please! The current ones only require very basic arithmetic skills, as they focus on speed to the point of compromising any level of difficulty. Other than that, I enjoy the free version of the app, and would pay for it if it was more affordable.
