Each time the app is updated it actually gets worse. I adore lush products for myself and as gifts but the app really needs improving radically. ASAP please
The app is brilliant but the left side is cut off on my iPhone. Therefore only 3 stars.
….Maybe make sure your app works! 20 minutes after release and the app still only has 3 of 7 products. Your customers are probably all trying to get to work guys, can’t spend all morning waiting for you to put the perfumes on the app!
I find it so frustrating to use - why isn’t anything categorised?? I have to manually search ‘hair’ for example to find hair products. It’s awful. Deleted it and using the website from now on even though it’s not much better.
I can browse the store with the app but if I want to buy anything I have to log in or sign up at which point the app tries to open lush.com and freezes
If I could actually buy anything on it that would be great. It won’t let me checkout using any payment method. It simply doesn’t work for me and neither does the website.
When you advertise the app with a mobile web interstitial you need to sort your deeplinks out so if you already have the app it opens it if you click on the CTA - and if you dont, it takes you to the listing in the relevant app store. Similarly, if you advertise Halloween early access in-app on a similar interstitial banner, you need to deeplink to the (hidden?) product lister page using the onelink. I cant find thr halloween stuff even though Ive got the app already - so you’re potentially missing out on sales for engaged app customers?
I usually go straight to Lush.co.uk but a pop up told me this app would be easier. I downloaded it, took one look at the app and deleted it. I went back to the main site and was told that it wouldn’t recognise my login (even though the app did?). I re-downloaded the app and gave it a go. I’m using an iPad and this app is clearly designed for mobile phones as I just had a silly little box which filled about a quarter of my screen. I chose my item but it took forever to work out that I had to pull up the screen and AT THE SAME TIME click on buy, this was not immediately evident and I could only see the top half of “buy this item”. This is not a user friendly app, it’s no good for browsing and being inspired, it seems worthwhile if you know exactly what the product is called and can search directly. I have my regular stuff but sometimes I want to be inspired to buy a cheeky little try out. The smallness of the screen strained my eyes and irritated me, I gave up and deleted my order (which would have been in excess of £100!). Very silly move Lush as I’m a fairly regular customer but I won’t be buying from this site again until you resume my automatic login so that I can use the main site. I really can’t be asked to keep having to change my login details. I am beyond disappointed and saddened that you got talked into doing this by a, no doubt, so called “tech supremo”. Such a shame.
Most people are reviewing the store rather than the app. Store is great. App is TERRIBLE. There’s not even any navigation. Products are just hidden away in the code but there’s no way to navigate to them without knowing them by name and searching for it in the search bar. The app is in desperate need of a categorised navigation menu.
