Love the idea and the person who gifted it. It is a very difficult Bluetooth product if you more than 2 lamps.. There must be an easier way to enroll and set up and send colorful messages.
Something that looks so simple,I can’t get it to hook up.
Does not stay connected even right by the modem
My son and his family live hundreds of miles away and sadly we only see each other a few times a year and whenever we can Facetime. I got us each a Luvlink for Christmas this year and we have been having the best time sending each other what I call my "love taps" to them and using the app to make our own color choices messages!!! My grandkids are 5 and 3 and are loving their love lamp too! It's a must have when you are miles apart❤️❤️❤️
I’m sure this is a byproduct of a high influx of new users using the app this holiday season, but the app (and therefore the entire product) is simply unusable for my device at this time. I have an IPhone 13. When I downloaded the app and went to add a device, it brought me to the “join a preexisting group” or “create new group screen.” When pressing “create new group”, I gave the code to the other party but I was unable to ever hit the ‘next’ button on the bottom of the screen. The other party had to wait a solid 3-4 minutes after pressing “join a preexisting group” before the search bar to type in the code ever showed up. And after typing it in, there was another long wait before any next step was allowed. Meanwhile, I had backed out of the “create a group” screen to join the preexisting group I just made but the search bar never showed back up. I sat there with my phone loading for around 10 minutes to no avail. Your app is busted. It should not be this hard. I can’t imagine this service is that data intensive to process on the backend. That is, of course, assuming that the necessary account we had to create isn’t siphoning personal data for advertisers.
It has disconnected me from my group, then won’t reconnect my lamp, I can’t see the group but still receive the colors on my lamp. They can see me in the group but the app says I am not in a group. Tried resetting my lamp, tried uninstalling the app. Nothing is working. Had it for less than 24 hours and now it appears useless.
This was a gift from my BIL so I did not purchase it and would not. Set up was frustrating because I wanted to use Apple ID and hide my email. I started the process but then was immediately notified that I had to change my email, which defeats the purpose of hiding it, and could not move forward without doing so. I entered my email but then had to go back to "create a login" which then said my email was taken. So then I changed my password to get an account. Frustrating and probably against Apple Store rules. The real kicker is having to provide my wifi password. This is NOT a secure device. Only because I love my siblings am I willing to use this. Haven't even connected to them yet and I'm already annoyed.
Careful adding a secondary group, that screen doesn’t seem to be scrollable and you’ll be unable to save changes to the secondary group
Customer service is nonexistent And set up is a nightmare
