I am not used to complaining but seriously I feel like I have wasted my money using this network. The only reason I stayed with Luca for the last 9 months is because I do not like to change my contact number. Network is rubbish, the app does not even work and today I was charged for the pack I have disabled auto debit for, as am using extra OL plan, all I see is just waste of time and money. Disappointment

The network is however much improved by moving to EE and overall rates as somewhat rubbish rather than the dreadful it deserved on o2.
I’m giving Lyca a second go but I’m not convinced that it is a “keeper”.
Seems like a scam the data’s 3G only the sim restrictions do it
Try and pull you in with all this data, but they have restricted it to 3G or LTE only. What a absolute scam, basically you can use it as most networks have reduced support or are phased it out, and it is so slow you can hardly pull up a web page. Don’t fall for the trick with lyca this whole thing is a con, should have noticed on signup the dubious auto renewal kept sneakily reactivating, had to uncheck it 5 times. Bet they will still try.
So disappointing
Lyca deal recommended on MSE - so sent off for sim. Only wanted it for data for my router. Put it in router and it wouldn’t work. Tried chat bot but they couldn’t solve problem and no human agents were available ! Tried calling customer services but no one to talk to and a load of options that I didn’t want. Tried emailing 3 times but no answer. Admittedly it was the weekend by now , so yet to see if they reply. After spending hours trying to get internet to work , the only way I could manage it was to use data roaming. Emailed again and looked on website , nothing to say whether this would incur more charges. Tried to ensure my sim had a spend cap in it. Chat bot said I could do this on the app but no instructions as to how ! So another few hours of wasted time and I gave up.
Rubbish
App is useless doesn’t even recognise phone number. Just get message please try again. Emailed screen shots to Lyca 2 weeks ago. Response was log in and change password…HOW??
Doesn’t work!
Like all of Lyca’s services, it doesn’t work! You cannot register via the app as it’s completely useless. You cannot go onto the website and use the form there as that doesn’t work either! With every query you have to ring or go via live chat to have it sorted, it’s utterly ridiculous. Porting my number should’ve been simple but the form they have online doesn’t work and guess what, I had to go via live chat again. Avoid this app!

Appalling customer service
This company’s customer service is absolutely shocking. The first several times I called the agent pretended to not hear me then hung up. When I tried live chatting as soon as I got through to a person (after about an hour waiting) the agent said “as you have not responded we are terminating the chat” and left. They did this as soon as they connected didn’t even give me 5 seconds to say anything. Same thing happened several times after. I payed for a pre paid bundle and they refused to give it to me. The SIM card just didn’t have the plan on it when it arrived even though it was supposed to be on it. Instead they told me to pay for it again. Eventually they said my case would be sent to technical support and they would reply within 24 hours. They never did. Called again and they said the same thing. Never got a follow up, stay clear if you don’t want to be robbed.
