M-Air Woes!

F Stan J on

United States

This app is constantly crashing. Often the ability to use the sliders to adjust volume just freezes up. Often in the middle of our Sunday services it just stops working. We’ve had the same issues with the M-12and the M18. This app needs attention.

Update to current iOS?????

When will this be updated to the current iOS? Doe anyone work here? What are you doing to improve your 1.5 rating???

No device shows, app is useless

Earle11 on

United States

No device shows using internal mixer Wi-Fi, Ethernet adaptor, or external router on iPad 8. The MR12 mixer connects and works right away with the Mixing Station app. Mixer has latest firmware and iPad latest OS. The Midas app is useless.

App won’t connect at all after latest update!

GTR jk on

United States

I updated the iPad app on IOS 16.5.1. I updated the MR18 to firmware 1.2 and also updated the Mac editor. Before the update the iPad app would connect but crashed when attempting to edit a channel. After the updates the app doesn’t connect at all and shows a lost connection error. I rolled back the firmware on the MR18 and continuing to use Mixing Station. Great hardware but Midas should be embarrassed about this software.

FINALLY Update: iOS 16 support ! Please fix this!!!

Benpegg on

Finally after over a year the update for compatibility with ios16 is out. I will still use mixing station in some instances, but the m-air app has a better overview of ALL channels at once so I’m really glad to see it working again. I appreciate development for finally doing it. This had crippled many places that I’d installed these products Original review: I have installed mr-18s in dozens of churches and venues where I live. My company has stepped up in your absence and is now providing them with laptops out of pocket to control there mixers because there iPads no longer work! Unacceptable for a product with such a wide user base !

Impressed, totally!

I’ve used this since 2015. I couldn’t be happier. There have been a few glitches, but it got better. Overall it has been solid. Better than I ever expected. I’ve used everything out there, and this will always be my first choice. Thanks Midas and Behringer!

Not for new iPads!

Midas or Behringer has updated this app for 3 years! It works on my old iPad or tablet and old Mac but crashes with my 2020 iPad. Come on….fix it!

App Crashes Adjusting Almost Anything!!

DJSLM01 on

United States

Current update: The only thing I can do with this app and not cause it to crash is adjust volume. Everything else - EQing, Network Setup, Effects, etc. will crash on tap. The lack of functionality in this app makes my Midas MR12 mixer absolutely useless. I’m using an iPad Pro running iOS 16. What a pointless product for present day use.

2 stars for app with a laptop 5 stars for quality of mr12 0 stars for iPad function

Makes me wonder if this is why I got my MR12 Midas for a decent deal… bc it’s a lemon without being able to control it! Okay so all of my time has gone recently to making this app work. I even dropped $100+ on a stupid router setup that I saw on some YouTube hoping it would help with iPad drop outs. EVERYTHING everyone is saying about iPad is true I have a mini and I can control faders and channel selection outside of that even going to set up the app crashes… btw the router setup help with some latency in the faders on iPad and helps Improve computer it works faster.. but I’ve only had one drop out with my computer connecting to the built in console so if you use a computer you SHOULD be ok only used it I’m ,y house so far… it shouldn’t be like this but I won’t play put until I can trust the app bc one time it crashed and I had feedback that my entire apartment community heard… so it caused me some audible harm However the mixer sounds absolutely incredible and I’m glad I got the mr12 instead of the Xr which I’m sure is still good I use a shure sm7b with cloud lifter and +30db of gain and there’s zero noise… incredible Going to try the mixing station app seems to be the only a Alternative

Disappointed

Last evening on a gig every time I tried to adjust anything other than the volume the app crashed. Couldn’t EQ or anything other than moving the sliders up and down
