Midas M-AIR iPad app for MR18/MR12
M-AIR allows you to control the mixing, processing and effects functions of Midas' MR18 & MR12 digital audio mixers right from your iPad®.
M-AIR Version 1.6 delivers simple and advanced control features for the MR18 & MR12 mixers. The user interface is providing a access to mixing 18 input channels to 12 buses and editing 4 internal stereo effects processors, with highest professional audio quality. It provides customisable fader layers, Automixing, DCA and Mute Group control, as well as access to the 64 internal snapshots memory of Midas M-AIR mixers. The M-AIR app can be used in demo mode for offline show preparation, when no mixer is available.

Very disappointing
Went to a gig and had to scramble last minute for a laptop. Almost a disaster! Common guys… the mixer is phenomenal, support not so much. Help us out here!
Not updated in 2 years. Your $1,800 mixer is now useless brick.
Midas seems to have abandoned support for this app, rendering the M Air series of mixers into very expensive paper weights or door stops. Really disappointing to see them give up on this product so soon. Let’s see some accountability here.
App crashes every time I select a channel
Jan 27: app is useless since last IOS update. Please fix it.
Crash
Absolutely useless. Has been for months. Midas doesn’t seem to care. Support ticket can be opened but nothing seems to be happening. Ticket update inquiries are ignored. Shame on you Midas.
The app crash after last IOS update, poor support and app update
The app crash everytime try to select a channel to update. I see last update is 2 years ago, this is very slow rate to update a vital app that this mixer depending on.
Great App but needs smother Faders
Why are the other reviews not up here? If you go online there are more reviews but not here? Not good! Previous Review I’m really liking this App after using it for some time. You’re team has really done a great Job, and this software works great. One great update you could do is have the faders work as smooth as the MX-Q App. That’s the smoothest faders I’ve tried so far! Also both the M-Air & X-Air have the same jumpy faders that are not smooth when moved. Faders don’t end up where you left you finger off last. They jump up or down a small amount, but still quite enough to bother you, when you’re using in ears. Another update that’s needed is the ability to lock other band members into only being able to use there Bus functions, like Bus Master Fader, Bus EQ, Bus Pan, etc. There hasn’t been an update for over 2 yrs. This is a must for today’s bands. Other than that Fantastic work people!
