It won’t let me renew my subscription.

I downloaded so I could get up-to-date articles and blogs from Macleans... but app says it now doesn't offer this. Why not offer it and get people to pay for it? I'd gladly pay for an app over a magazine in the era of 12 hour news cycles. Perplexing as I will now use another news source... get with the times Macleans!!!

Maclean's Twitter team gave me a contact for tech support and download problem was sorted immediately. Anyone else with this problem, try the following: go to your iPad Settings> Store> Automatic Downloads> Maclean's> On. Everything coming through fine now, delighted to have it back.

Was really enjoying this until the 6 March 2012 upgrade. Since then it doesn't do anything. I'd only just taken out an annual subscription because I had been enjoying it so much. Now it won't download. I've actually left it downloading overnight and come back to find the download status bar hasn't even started its slow crawl - and it was a slow download to begin with - across to the right of the box. So frustrating. Even more frustrating is the absence of any support or help pages. The link above to Maclean's Magazine Support takes you to a website telling you about subscription options, not about what to do when your subscription leaves you paying for content you can't access. There's no help available on their website. I've deleted, re-downloaded and reinstalled the app without any success: everything just sits there after I click download. Really poor show, Maclean's.

I was getting pretty marginal value out of the magazine, anyway, but throwing in the extra hassle it just isn’t worth it.

Until recently, Maclean’s had a nice balance between lifestyle pieces and top quality Canadian political commentary. I miss all the political perspectives my subscription brought me. PS. The app is really good.

Magazine itself is well worth the subscription price, but the app needs work. Currently I received the print version of the publication by mail 3 weeks ago, but the electronic version has not yet appeared for download on the app. This should be easy to correctly.

Each new issue is more disappointing than the last.

Subscribed, paid for it and then went into the app to sign in. I needed a subscription number which I had not received but that's okay it can be obtained through help. Problem is the help function produced a blank screen. Not impressed. Cancelled subscription, removed app.

It’s a good app, offers a Canadian perspective on certain things.
