This app’s contents is ordered NOT for lay people. The lay people follow in the order of the MASS. Let there be two display options with one specific for MASS order and the second option for PRIESTS. The priests go back and forth as in the missal. The lay people are not used by the priests so the prayers in your App should be designed user friendly as it is in the ORDER OF THE MASS.
I have used this app for years. Every once in a while the download gets messed up. The solution that worked was to delete the app and reinstall. Unfortunately now the download is broken and doesn’t download the app and data, making this useless. Can’t be opened to be used as intended. UPDATE: After five days, down load and update worked perfectly. App runs as expected. Should be 5 stars.
I much prefer the old format. This is way harder to read and follow. Please go back to the original format for this app.
This app is visually beautiful and I find it very easy to use. It has changed my prayer life.
Without a doubt the most important app on my phone. This is the app I believe the Lord would say of it “using The Magnificat is choosing the better portion.” For those on the journey to Christ, the readily available daily scriptures, and meditations and prayers, will feed your soul on your pilgrimage. Most every other app is a distraction - this one is a stream in the desert.
Rarely does more than a month go by where I receive the dreaded “error loading” msg. I email the tech support and the first email is always the same thing—I’m provided with the basic downloading instructions as if I didn’t follow the proper steps like I do every single month. I then have to send another email (or two) to ask the tech support to fix the problem from their end. I’ve encountered this “error loading” problems for several years now.
I love using this app for my prayer and use it every day! I like the way the morning prayer includes the canticle so I wouldn’t have to click to another page (like is necessary in a printed book). My one request is to have some space put in at the very bottom underneath the text. When I scroll down to the bottom I always wish that I could scroll the text up to the middle of the screen to read it easier and having some space at the bottom would allow for this. Does that make sense? Thank you!
Many months during the past year I get a downloading error. I have emailed my problem. I have gone to the gear icon and memory status. I have used different devices to try to download. My subscription was set to renew in November. I have already canceled it. I have used Magnificat for 10 plus years. Very disappointed.
Love this! The alerts forbprayer… liturgy of the hours is so wasy now to do! Love so mich about this app. It makes things easy to find and follow- especially in Mass and when i need a little more guidance, i can read meditations and about the Saints. Now we need a magnifikid app…
Paid for subscription. Have emailed several times. Still cannot use this app.
