Paying I am paying monthly to this paper

owzthatt on

I am paying for this paper £4.99/ month

No news site!.

chrmbo on

United Kingdom

Really awful. Lack of actual news apart from a daily dose of the Beckham’s and Katie Price and undeclared adverts disguised as articles!. Has to be the worst news site possible now for false news and repeated stories only geared to the Mails paid select few.

New look mail

Barns_y on

United Kingdom

Far too much intrusive advertising, I’ve notice recently there are pop-up obscuring what I’m reading. These pop-ups have very small ‘x’s’ that are hard to dismiss the advertising, and only takes me to the offending advertising begging me to join the Mails WhatsApp subscription.

Hot mess

Life Without Horses on

United Kingdom

The website is such a unusable mess of ads that brings even the fastest device to a crawl, the mobile app is possibly even worse when it comes to actual usability. So the categories on the tab bar at the bottom are a good idea, and the actual app is more responsive than the website, but the layout of the main list of stories is horrible. The text is huge and the margins are all wrong, the headline of each story is truncated so much that it’s hard to tell what each story is even about. Each story has a second line of text which is presume is the start of the actual article, but that’s truncated so much that it doesn’t make any sense either. You could take some guidance from the native Apple news app which has a fantastic layout. Daily mail if you want an actual professional developer to sort it out then give me a call.

To many adverts

To many adverts. To intrusive.

Still don’t work

lilsdon on

United Kingdom

I seem to have no input in any news stories, nothing ever works, some reporters seem wet behind the ears and the reporting is terrible.

Stop trying to track me

Disc0d4ve on

United Kingdom

Pay or be tracked. No thanks. App deleted

Wants to share your info with 1300+ “partners”

Wulliest on

United Kingdom

Recently launched the app to find myself presented with a choice of either accepting tracking by ~1300 3rd parties, or paying for the use of the app. I chose the third option and uninstalled it.

Forces you to accept cookies

cookie.monster00 on

United Kingdom

Forces you to accept cookies or pay a fee. Even with fee they still put cookies. Not worth sharing your data to access for the level of ‘news’ in this app

Advertising is ruining the app

Lukeeeeee247 on

United Kingdom

Daily Mail is far too aggressive with the use of advertising on the app. It’s now interrupting my Spotify, it crashes the app, the adverts are entirely irrelevant to me. It’s becoming quite tedious and clear greed from the DM whom make more than enough money. Sort it out!!
