Well, it was nice to have a private place to breast-feed. However, there was no elbow support and there was no AC… it kind of felt like breeding in a portaJohn. I I almost would have rather breastfed in public. Next time, try not to be so cheap and think about the woman’s comfort. I’m surprised there are even cushions on the chair.

I have to give my name and email address for the privilege of using the breastfeeding pods? Not cool. Gonna pump in the bathroom like I always do ✌️

Made traveling as a pumping parent easier

I have had to travel without my baby and having the Mamava app and being able to locate and access pods to pump made it so much easier!

Lifesaver

For pumping and nursing mamas alike! As a working and traveling mama, the lactation space locator has been a lifesaver. Knowing the rules of travel and my rights in regards to bringing breastmilk through TSA has also been essential. I am so grateful for this app!!!

Amazing!

This app and free service is amazing! The pods, lactation locations and information are super helpful for traveling mamas! It also helps to have a plan in advance for those who may have been super anxious about flying while pumping (me!). I can't imagine how women did it before Mamava.

The pods are great, the app is not

Privacy for pumping is wonderful. However; if hate that I had to download an app, and register an account to unlock the pod. And then the pod didn’t work, anyway

Red eye, delayed and deplaned

We were taking a red eye flight back home. Sadly our flight got delayed and then deplaned. My little one had been screaming already and then we found the pod right next to our gate. It couldn’t be anymore perfect. The dim lights and a privacy allowed me to nurse my little one to a sound sleep while we wait for our flight. The app is perfect it took less than a minute to load and access the pod. Thank you so much for providing this wonderful space.

Frustrating onboarding

I’m at the aquarium and my baby is screaming he’s so hungry. I finally locate the lactation pod, it’s available, but I can’t get in without downloading an app, surrendering my email, enabling Bluetooth, creating an account with password, then finding the pod and opening it... By this time I’m getting hysterical myself because my baby is so upset and I wasn’t expecting so much friction just to feed my baby. Other pods in airports just use a manual deadbolt, like any bathroom stall. If you are providing a quality service (it looks like you maybe are - helping us find options) I will create an account later. Please don’t hold me and my baby hostage when we’re most vulnerable.
